A Woman Worth Billions Dated the Wrong Brother novel Chapter 273

Our daughter.

Amber POV

Jason’s video accomplished exactly what neither of us expected.

Mrs. Sun declared it a masterpiece.

Not because it had defended our family.

Not because it had silenced the rumors.

But because of his last sentence.

“If anyone remains confused, I suggest taking a biology class at our school.”

She replayed that part at least five times.

Then she looked at Jason with a smile that honestly frightened me.

“Do you have any idea what you’ve done?”

Jason frowned.

“I defended my wife.”

Mrs. Sun shook her head.

“No.”

She pointed at her tablet.

“You advertised my school.”

Jason blinked.

“What?”

She turned the screen around.

The academy’s website had crashed.

Applications were pouring in faster than the servers could process them.

Parents from all over the continent wanted to enroll their children.

Even adults were joking online that they should attend the biology classes.

The waiting list had doubled overnight.

Mrs. Sun laughed happily.

“I should let you handle all of our marketing.”

Jason looked horrified.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.”

“I think it’s an excellent idea.”

Grandfather chuckled.

ve never seen a school become famous because of a paternity scandal.”

Mrs. Sun looked incredibly pleased.

“There’s a first time for everything.”

I couldn’t help laughing.

Fortunately, the internet eventually calmed down.

The jokes remained, but the accusations slowly disappeared.

Jason quietly handled the rest.

False articles vanished.

Defamatory posts disappeared.

Fake accounts mysteriously stopped existing.

I didn’t ask how.

I already knew.

My husband had decided that if people insisted on spreading lies, they simply wouldn’t have a platform to do it

anymore.

The internet became remarkably peaceful afterward.

Unfortunately…

Alexander Vincent wasn’t finished.

Not even close.

It began subtly.

One investor.

Then another.

Then another.

Long-time investors from Asher Corporation began requesting meetings with Grandfather.

Each conversation ended the same way.

They thanked him for decades of friendship.

Explained they were getting older.

Wanted to simplify their estates.

And intended to sell their shares.

Individually, none of it sounded suspicious.

Together…

It was impossible to ignore.

Round Grandfather calmly drinking tea in his office while reviewing the latest reports.

“Aren’t you worried?”

He smiled.

“Not particularly.”

I frowned.

“We’re losing investors.”

He waved a dismissive hand.

“I own more than sixty percent of Asher Corporation.”

He began counting on his fingers.

“You own fifteen.”

I nodded.

“Adrian owns another five.”

Another nod.

He smiled.

“That means eighty percent of the company is safely within the family.”

I relaxed slightly.

Grandfather continued.

“The remaining twenty percent is divided among dozens of investors.”

A shrug.

“If necessary…”

“I’ll buy every last share.”

He sounded so confident that for a moment I actually believed nothing was wrong.

But something still bothered me.

Too many investors.

Too quickly.

Coincidences rarely happened around the Vincents.

That evening I sat in my office with Jason.

Or rather…

I complained while Jason patiently listened.
