A Second Chance At Forever novel (Eleanor and Bernard) novel Chapter 1524

Eleanor gazed through the fluttering sheer curtains, the moonlight casting a ghostly glow outside the window, her throat tight with anxiety. She couldn't accept what was happening, her voice rising despite herself.

"Bernard, I heard from Robin's bodyguard, Nathan, that he's fond of spying on us with his telescope. Please, don't mess around here."

Bernard, who rarely showed his emotions, raised an eyebrow ever so slightly. His eyes, brimming with challenge, darted to the villa opposite theirs before casually reaching for the remote and switching off the light.

"Don't worry, he won’t see us."

"But..." Before she could finish her objection, Bernard with his hands firmly on the chair's armrests bent down and captured her lips with his own, like a wolf seizing its prey, stealing her breath and swallowing her words.

At first, Eleanor resisted, but when Bernard knelt on one knee, her body trembled uncontrollably, her nails desperately clawing at the back of the chair...

Bernard had always relied on his own strength for their intimate encounters, but tonight, for some reason, he brought out tools, gadgets Eleanor had never seen before...

She cried out for Bernard, begging him not to use these things, but he wouldn't listen. Instead, he whispered seductively in her ear, "Honey, don't hold back, let it out."

Eleanor was far too embarrassed to make a sound, biting her lip in silence. Seeing her resistance, Bernard intensified his efforts with the aid of his tools and physical prowess, coaxing her with, "Honey, I love to hear you moan..."

If not for the soundproofing of their bedroom, if not for the gauzy curtains shielding the windows, Eleanor's involuntary whimpers would have left her mortally embarrassed...

Exhausted, Eleanor looked toward the firmly shut door, wishing, hoping that Damian would knock and say with a feeble voice, "Mom, my tummy hurts. Will you take me to the hospital?"

Unfortunately, Damian was trapped in a sea of homework, sitting in the study with a frown, resting his chin in his hands, pondering over the problems on the screen...

When he was truly stumped, he'd call his uncle Peterson for help, solving a few problems with guidance. But with endless questions he was facing, he couldn't possibly ask his uncle every time, could he?
