Joseph didn’t expect Cora to show up again. She even brought along Jonas’ medical records and showed them to him.

“Honey, could you set your personal feelings aside and go to the Traditional Medicine Center? Please save Jonas.”

Without a word, Joseph pointed at the door, gesturing for Cora to get out.

“Look at all the patients you’ve saved-the Snows, the Goulds, the Croma faction, and even outsiders. They’re not exactly good people either. If you can save them, why can’t you save Jonas?”

“Then answer me this. Why do you think I saved those people?”

“Why?”

“Because I wanted to. That’s why!”

Seeing that Cora refused to leave, Joseph took out a bottle of perfume to scare her.

As expected, Cora immediately recalled how she had thrown up nonstop because of Joseph’s perfume. Terrified of being left at his mercy, she fled the office.

“Did you go back on the pact we made back then to start working with the Zahns?”

Joseph gave Belinda a call, hinting that she no longer had any rivals left in her family.

According to the information provided by Grace’s former subordinates, Belinda was working out a partnership with Cora.

From Cora’s perspective, as long as she could continue working with the Townes, that would help the Lowells minimize their losses.

“Belinda, you set fire to Lowell Group’s building, and now you’re working with Cora. What on earth are you even thinking? You’re making a deal with a devil!”

Joseph never trusted Belinda in the first place, and now his distrust of her only deepened.
