Meanwhile, Oliver Cross and Stella Vance both received panicked calls from Mia.

Stella immediately took the morning off from work, and the two women rushed to Oliver's office to figure out what was going on. It was only when they pieced everything together that they realized Suzie hadn't told anyone where she was going yesterday.

Stella and Mia paced frantically around the office.

After a moment of heavy thought, Oliver spoke up. "Don't panic just yet. Let me get someone to track down her car first."

Before Oliver could even dial his phone, Stella slammed her hand on the desk, exploding with anger. "I bet you anything that bastard Jamie locked her up again! You guys track the car; I'm going to find that piece of trash!"

"Hold on," Oliver intercepted. "He knows the kids exist now. He wouldn't be awful enough to lock her away."

Remembering all the misery Suzie had suffered, Stella was seeing red. "That psycho didn't know the kids were his! Do you honestly think he cares if they're crying for their mother? He only cares about feeding his own twisted ego. When does he ever think about anyone else?"

Seeing her so fired up, Oliver tried his best to talk her down.

At 9 AM, Aaron rushed back to the Baylor Group headquarters.

Finding Jamie, he reported rapidly, "Sir, when we left the forensics center yesterday, Ms. Sterling was still there. Garage security footage shows she was taken by two men."

Shayla avoided his severe gaze, stammering, "Downstairs... a woman named Stella Vance is in the lobby cursing at Mr. Baylor... saying really awful things... The lobby is completely packed with people staring..."

"Hold on," Aaron told her, then quickly turned back to his boss. "Sir, Stella Vance is downstairs. Security stopped her in the lobby, but it looks like she's trying to start a riot."

He didn't dare repeat the exact words Shayla had used. Jamie was already on edge. If he knew Stella was causing a blind scene and the two ended up clashing, it would be an absolute nightmare if Jamie and Suzie ever reconciled. Stella was Suzie's best friend; alienating her would make everything impossibly awkward.

"What is she doing here? Get rid of her," Jamie ordered coldly.

Aaron knew enough about Stella's fiery personality to realize that if they didn't let her up, she would quite literally tear the lobby apart.
