Zoey watches her with growing admiration and deep trust. "Thank you for saving my mother's life," she says warmly. "I heard Gavin absolutely adores you too. I'm going to invite you over to the Sinclair estate for dinner soon. Please don't say no."

"I'd love to," Tara replies with a soft smile.

Standing off to the side, Gregory looks incredibly awkward, painfully aware that his earlier doubts and harsh words were entirely out of line. He glances between Joseph and Tara, offering a stiff but sincere apology. "I'm sorry, Tara. I was out of my mind with worry for my mother and spoke without thinking. Please forgive my lack of manners."

"It's fine," Tara says, nodding lightly. She keeps her response neutral. She still hasn't figured out if this man is a friend or an enemy, or if his connection to Jovani runs deeper than she suspects.

With the crisis averted, Danny escorts Tara and Joseph out of the hospital. Once outside, he thoughtfully excuses himself, claiming he needs to handle an urgent matter at the office. In reality, he is giving the mentor and apprentice time alone to catch up. He knows they haven't seen each other in a while and likely have private matters to discuss.

Tara watches Danny drive off, a small smile playing on her lips. She appreciates his emotional intelligence, mentally giving him another gold star. He always knows exactly what she needs.

"Joseph, what brings you here today?" she asks as they walk.

A faint blush dusts Tara's cheeks. Because she views Joseph as a father figure, she doesn't bother hiding her true feelings. "He is. It feels like he always shows up right when I need him most, solving the hardest problems."

Joseph, who rarely smiles and struggles with emotional conversations, softens his tone. "I know the boy well. He's Katie and Arthur's son. He's exceptionally capable, his character is solid, and he's someone you can trust with your life."

Tara's heart skips a beat, but she immediately backpedals. "We aren't quite at that stage yet. We're just friends right now."

Joseph chuckles quietly, patting her shoulder with heavy significance. "It's only a matter of time. You can't rush matters of the heart. Just feel it out and let nature take its course."
