The Messenger( Iva) novel Chapter 311

The Aftermath-T

The arrest of Silviu Conti sent shockwaves through the kingdom.

Within hours of his capture, the news had spread like wildfire-through the Academy, through the packs, through the highest echelons of power.

The Conti family, one of the most prominent and influential families in the kingdom, was in disgrace. Their heir, the golden boy of the elite, had been exposed as a twisted stalker who had terrorized the Crown Princess for months.

The scandal was unprecedented.

And the Conti family fought back with everything they had.

The first volley came within hours of Silviu’s arrest.

Lord Conti, Silviu’s father, arrived at the royal palace with a team of lawyers and a demeanor of cold, calculated fury. He demanded an audience with the King, insisting that his son was innocent, that the evidence was fabricated, that the Crown Princess was lying to destroy his family’s reputation.

The King received him in the great hall, his expression unreadable.

“Lord Conti,” the King said, his voice calm but edged with steel. “I trust you are here to discuss the evidence against your son.”

Lord Conti’s face was flushed with anger.

“The evidence is a farce,” he spat. “My son would never do such things. He is being framed. The Crown Princess has orchestrated this to destroy my family.”

The King’s eyes narrowed.

“You are accusing the Crown Princess of fabricating a months-long campaign of terror against herself?”

“I am accusing her of using her position to target an innocent man,” Lord Conti said, his voice rising. “We

r have connections. Resources. We will not let this stand.”

The King rose from his throne, his aura flaring with power.

“Then I suggest you review the evidence,” he said coldly. “Every letter. Every rose. Every security recording.

It is all there, Lord Conti. Your son’s obsession. His threats. His confession-recorded, clear as day.”

Lord Conti’s face went pale.

“Confession?”

Caleb stepped forward, holding up the small black recorder.

“Your son admitted everything,” he said, his voice cold. “We have it all on tape.”

He pressed play.

The Aftermath-

Silviu’s voice filled the great hall.

Claim

*”I’ve waited for you to be alone, to let your guard down. And now… here you are. Finally. Completely. Alone.”*

Lord Conti’s face drained of color.

*”You think that bond means anything? You think that crown protects you? I have resources, Ivana. Connections. My family has power that even the royal family can’t touch.”*

The King’s eyes were like ice.

“Do you still wish to claim your son is innocent, Lord Conti?”

Lord Conti’s composure cracked.

“That is that is a fabrication,” he stammered. “The recording is doctored. My son would never-”

“We have forensic analysts who have verified its authenticity,” the King said. “And we have witnesses. And we have the letters. And the roses. And the security footage of your son entering the Crown Princess’s private quarters.”

Lord Conti’s shoulders sagged.

The fight drained out of him, replaced by a desperate, pleading look.

“There must be something we can do,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “A deal. A plea bargain. My family has resources. We can make this right.”

The King’s expression was cold.

“Your family will be lucky if I don’t strip you of your titles and lands,” he said. “Your son terrorized the Crown Princess. He threatened her. He tried to trap her. He confessed. On tape. There is no deal.”

Lord Conti opened his mouth to argue, but the King raised his hand.

“You are dismissed, Lord Conti. I suggest you prepare yourself for the trial. Your son’s fate will be decided by the Council. And I will ensure that justice is served.”

Lord Conti was escorted out of the great hall.

The days that followed were a whirlwind of legal battles and political maneuvering.

The Conti family pulled every string they had. They called in favors, threatened former allies, and tried to discredit the evidence against Silviu. They leaked stories to the press, painting Iva as a manipulative woman who had seduced their son and then turned on him when he refused her advances.

But Caleb was prepared.

He released the recordings. The letters. The security footage. He presented the evidence to the Council with a thoroughness that left no room for doubt.
