Chapter 5 

Bang- 

As the screeching sound of brakes resounded, Silvia was sent flying into the air. 

During the few seconds she was floating in the air, her world was in chaos. 

At the moment her body hit the ground, she seemed to hear the sound of her bones breaking. 

Immediately after, she completely lost consciousness. 

It seemed like she had a dream, in which she went back to the time when she was still in love with 

Zachary. 

Back then, she had just passed her driving test and was not familiar with driving. Zachary sat beside her and taught her hand in hand. 

“Silvia, don’t be afraid, go ahead boldly, I am right here with you.” 

But the scene changed, and the people around her suddenly disappeared. In their place, there was him with his eyes burning red, angrily stepping on the accelerator and rushing towards his own 

image. 

Silvia woke up completely from her dream, her forehead covered in sweat, and her back dampened. 

She woke up to find out that she had already arrived at the hospital. Her chest was in severe pain, and it was only when the nurse came to give her an injection that she realized several of her ribs 

were broken. 

During her days in the hospital, Zachary did not come to see her. 

She didn’t have any expectations that he would come to see her from the beginning, after all, he 

hated her so much now. 

When Zachary came out of the hospital, he was already busy preparing for his wedding with 

Rebecca. 

He asked her to be involved throughout the whole process. 

Because he wanted her to watch him marry another woman. 

She watched helplessly as everything that had once belonged to her was given to someone else. 

Silvia did not refuse, she obediently followed behind him and Rebecca, watching as he selected a wedding dress for her, accompanied her for wedding photos, and finalized the venue for the

On Elaine’s anniversary, she bought flowers early in the morning and went to pay her respects. 

She sat beside the tombstone, resting her head against it, gazing at the kind and gentle face in the photo, and began speaking to herself. 

“Elaine, are you doing okay over there? Are you feeling lonely?” 

“Do you still remember when you were alive, you liked me the most. You said I was just like your daughter, but in my heart, you were also like my mother.” 

“Don’t be afraid, I will come to accompany you soon.” 

In fact, before Elaine passed away, their relationship was very 

close. 

Silvia, who lost her mother at an early age, received the missing maternal love from her. 

Originally, they were about to become a real family.

her away. 

Silvia had just been in a car accident, and with this push, she had no strength to get up. She fell heavily onto the tombstone, and her head was severely hit, leaving a deep gash. 

Blood streamed down her cheeks, and she covered the wound, but she didn’t say a word. 

Charles’s anger did not diminish in the slightest because of her injury, with a torrent of furious curses following one after another. 

“You! You didn’t deserve to be here!” 

“Murderer! You are the one who deserves to die the most!”

Her face was pale, but she still remained silent, squatting on the ground, without uttering a word.
