Hunter backed away, face draining of color. “Who are you people?”

“Jeff Harrington, Chief Legal Officer for EthanGlory Games,” the man replied, producing business cards. “I understand someone here has been making defamatory statements about our CEO?”

Hunter looked desperately at me. “Ms. Taylor, this must be some publicity stunt. You hired these actors, right?”

I shook my head. “I haven’t contacted anyone. I didn’t even know they were coming.”

Jeff handed Hunter a folder. ‘Our CEO’s credentials, company registration documents, and a cease and desist letter regarding your defamatory statements. Our staff psychologist is available if you need evaluation for your delusions.”

The crowd watched in stunned silence. Blake squeezed my hand. I bit my lip to keep from laughing. My son had planned this entire thing. Four years old and already five steps ahead of everyone.
