Chapter 192

BLAKE

Her confession hit me like a punch to the gut. The room went dead silent. My whole body tensed with rage, sending sharp pain through

my injured neck.

“What the hell did you just say?” My voice came out barely above a whisper.

Emma backed up, her face going white. “Blake, please-

“YOU DRUGGED ME SIX YEARS AGO?” I exploded, making everyone jump. “AND LET ME THINK ARIA DID IT?”

Emma pressed herself against the wall, mascara running down her face. “I can explain-*

*EXPLAIN?” I tried sitting up, fighting through the searing pain radiating from my cervical vertebrae. “For six damn years I’ve blamed

Aria! SIX YEARS!”

Kevin stepped forward, gently pressing me back down. “Dude, your blood pressure-

I shrugged him off. “Get her out of my face before I lose it completely.”

The security guards moved toward Emma, who dropped to her knees dramatically.

“Blake, I swear I never meant for things to go this far,” she sobbed, grabbing at my bed sheets. “I was young and stupid and crazy about you! I saw how you looked at her-

‘So you drugged me and set her up? Seriously?” My voice cracked. “Do you have any idea what you did to her? What you did to ME?”

Emma trembled. ‘I, I screwed up! I know that! I got jealous and-”

“Jealous?” I let out a harsh laugh. “You trashed her reputation. You watched me treat her like dirt for YEARS!”

“I’m sorry! I’m so sorry!’ Emma wailed, hands shaking. “I just…I wanted you for myself.”

“You pulled the same crap again,’ I finished, completely disgusted. “What was the plan this time? Drug me, hop in bed, claim we hooked

up?”

Her silence told me everything I needed to know.

“Get her out,” I told the guards, turning away. “And make sure she doesn’t step foot in this hospital again.”

The security guards yanked Emma to her feet. She fought them, trying to break free.

Chapter 192

*Blake, please! I love you! I’ve always loved you!” she cried, sounding desperate. ‘People do crazy things when they’re in love! You know

that!’

I whipped my head back toward her, wincing at the pain the movement caused my neck. “Crazy things? You call what you did CRAZY?”

Emma went quiet, obviously sensing the danger in my tone.

“A crazy thing is drunk-texting at 2 AM,” I said, voice dripping with disgust. “A crazy thing is showing up unannounced with flowers. What you did was cold-blooded manipulation that destroyed lives.”

Her face crumpled. “Blake, I-

‘You stole years of my life. Years I could’ve spent with Aria.” The truth hit me hard. “And for what? So you could play the hero? So I’d owe

you instead of her?”

Emma stopped fighting the guards. “I was scared you’d never want me.”

“I never did want you,” I said bluntly. “And I never will.”

As they dragged her toward the door, she made one last desperate attempt. “Give me another shot! I can make it up to you! I can be

better than her!”

“Better than her?” I snorted. “Emma, you couldn’t reach Aria’s level if you had a hundred years to try.”

The door slammed behind them, leaving just Kevin and me in sudden silence.

“Holy shit,” Kevin muttered, running a hand through his hair. “That explains a ton.”

I fell back against the pillows, completely drained, feeling nothing but emptiness. “All these years… I blamed her. I treated her like garbage. I wouldn’t even listen when she tried to tell me the truth.”

Kevin stayed quiet, letting me process everything.

“And then I forced her to marry me for payback.” My voice broke. “I’ve been punishing her for something she never even did.”

The weight of everything I’d done crashed down on me. Every cold remark, every eye roll, every time I’d treated Aria like she was nothing -all based on a complete lie.

“Call my lawyer,” I said suddenly. “I want Emma’s contract with Morgan Retail torn up immediately. Every sponsorship, every deal –gone

by tomorrow.”

Kevin nodded. “On it.”

“And tell PR. I want a statement cutting ties with her out first thing.”

“Blake,” Kevin said carefully, ‘what about Aria? You gonna tell her?”

The question hit me hard. How could I possibly face her after everything?
