The CEO's Regret: His Lost Wife's Secret Twins novel Chapter 185

Chapter 185

I started counting. “Three…”

Henderson shouted, “I am your father! Victoria is your sister!”

‘Two…

“Please,” his tone changed completely. “This is the first time I’m truly asking you for something. I’ll take Victoria to apologize to Aria and

Matthew.”

*One…

Henderson broke down completely. “Why have I never liked you since you were little? Why didn’t you die in that fire thirteen years ago?!”

His words hung in the air. The Manhattan fire. Thirteen years ago. I felt the blood drain from my face, but I didn’t lower my gun.

*Three, I finished counting.

Henderson collapsed to the floor. “My whole life building this… just empty authority.”

He moved aside, clearing the path to the master bedroom.

I tucked my gun away. “Get her,” I ordered.

My security team rushed forward, breaking down the locked door despite Victoria’s resistance. Her shrill screams echoed through the

mansion as they dragged her out.

“I’m sorry! Brother, I’ll never do it again!” she cried, mascara streaming down her face. “I won’t bully Aria anymore. I’ll walk the other way

if I see her!

Victoria grabbed my pant leg, begging. I pulled away from her grasp.

“Victoria, people like you never change.

I’d given her chances. Too many. Each time, she’d grown more emboldened, more vicious. A dog that bites never loses its taste for blood.

Something shifted in her eyes then. The fake tears stopped.

“You think you’re so righteous?” she spat. “You’re the one who hurt Aria the most! During your three-year contract marriage-one thousand and ninety-five days-did you ever treat her well? Even once?”

I froze.

“You belittled her, insulted her, trampled all over her!” Victoria continued, her voice rising. All while making eyes at Emma, being all

lovey-dovey! You know what else? My Princeton graduation thesis? Aria wrote it for me!

Each word hit me hard.

‘Aria’s life in the Morgan family was unbearable! She suffered so much she didn’t deserve!”

I felt the color drain from my face. My blue eyes burned. ‘Is this… true?”

Victoria’s smile turned cruel. “Of course it’s true. You should have seen her face-disbelieving but helpless, obediently doing whatever I

asked.

She described how Aria had desperately wanted to belong in the Morgan family. How after using her, Victoria had kicked her aside and continued to demean her in social circles and family gatherings.

“Blake, you’re furious I pushed Aria down some stairs today? Three years ago, under your cold treatment and mental torture, Aria jumped

from a cliff hundreds of times higher!”

My mind went blank. Sweat beaded on my forehead. My scarred left hand clenched into a fist, the old wounds throbbing with pain.

After a long silence, I spoke in an ice-cold voice. “Break her mouth. Then break the hands that stole someone else’s academic work.”

Victoria’s eyes widened in shock. She clearly hadn’t expected this response.

Henderson jumped up. “No! Absolutely not! Blake, you can send Victoria to the police, but you cannot enforce this kind of vigilante

justice in the Morgan family!”

He kept talking, worried about Victoria’s future in society if her face and hands were ruined. He’d rather have her arrested than leave her

in my hands.

I ignored him completely.

My security team moved toward Victoria.

‘Daddy, help me! Blake wants to hurt me for his own revenge!” Victoria screamed.

Henderson called for his security team. About a dozen men attempted to intervene, but they were grossly outnumbered and outmatched. My men easily pushed them aside.

Victoria’s painful screams filled the air. The sound of slaps and bones breaking followed. Her mouth bloodied, her hands broken.

Henderson cursed at me. “Blake, you devil! You’ll pay for this!”

‘I’ve committed many sins. Been cold and heartless. My punishment is already here,” I replied calmly. “And this is just the beginning. The

days ahead are long.”

I turned and walked out of Morgan Mansion, leaving Victoria’s screams behind me. They stopped abruptly as she passed out from the

pain.
