“Blake! Oh my God, Blake! Elizabeth came running, her security team close behind. She fell to her knees beside him, completely ignoring

my presence. “What happened? Are you hurt?”

‘I’m fine, Mother, Blake said, his voice instantly softening for her. “Just cold.”

“We need to get you to the hospital immediately,” Elizabeth commanded her team. “Carefully now, he might have hypothermia.”

“Mrs. Morgan,” I said, stepping forward. “I found him. I called for help-

She turned to look at me for the first time, and the contempt in her eyes made me flinch.

“You,” she said coldly. “You did this.”

“What? No! I was trying to help-

“My son was in the hospital, recovering, until you showed up,” Elizabeth continued, her voice rising. “And now I find him collapsed on a cliff in a thunderstorm. Tell me, Emma, what exactly did you do?”

“I didn’t do anything! He left before I got there-

“Liar,” she hissed. “You’ve done nothing but bring pain to this family. To my son. And now you’re here, playing the concerned savior? Don’t insult my intelligence.”

“I’m telling the truth!” My voice cracked with desperation. “I just wanted to make sure he was safe!”

“Safe?” Elizabeth laughed harshly. “My son will never be safe as long as you’re in his life. The best thing you could do for him is

disappear.”

The security team had Blake on a stretcher now, carrying him toward one of the SUVs. He didn’t look back at me. Not once.

“Please, I begged Elizabeth. “Please, just listen-

‘I’m done listening to you,” she said, turning away. “Stay away from my son. Stay away from my family. You’ve caused enough damage.”

She climbed into the vehicle beside Blake, and the convoy pulled away. I stood there in the pouring rain, abandoned. Alone. Watching the taillights disappear down the mountain road.

Nobody helped me. Nobody looked back. It was as if I didn’t exist at all.

Chapter 112

。6)

I drove home in a daze, my hands shaking on the steering wheel. My clothes were ruined, my makeup running in black streaks down my face, my hair plastered to my skull. I looked like something that had crawled out of a nightmare.

But worse than my appearance was the hollow feeling in my chest. Blake’s words kept echoing in my mind. “You’re not her. You’ll never be her.

The Grant mansion was fully lit when I pulled up, which was strange for this hour. As I stumbled through the front door, leaving muddy

footprints on the pristine marble, I found Richard and Elaine sitting in the living room. They looked exhausted, aged ten years since I’d

last seen them.

‘You’re back, I said, my voice small and broken. “I didn’t know you’d be home.”

They both looked at me, their expressions unreadable.

“I just came from Peak Zero,” I continued, needing to fill the silence. “Blake was there, he collapsed in the rain, and I tried to help him but- My voice broke. “But he didn’t want my help. Nobody did. Elizabeth blamed me for everything, and Blake, he looked at me like I was poison, and I don’t know what to do anymore-*

*Your bags are packed,” Richard interrupted, his voice flat.

I stopped mid-sentence. “What?”

“Your belongings have been collected and packed, Elaine said. “You need to leave.”

*Leave? But I just-I had the worst night of my life, I need-*

“That’s not our concern anymore,” Richard said.

‘Not your concern?” I stared at them in disbelief. “I’m your daughter! Something horrible just happened to me, and you’re telling me to

leave?’

“You’re not our daughter,” Elaine said quietly. “We’ve already had this conversation.”

“Please,” I whispered, dropping to my knees. “Please don’t do this. Not tonight. I can’t take anymore tonight.”

They remained seated, watching me with cold eyes.

“I’ve lost everything today,” I continued, tears streaming down my face. “Blake hates me. The Morgans hate me. I have nowhere else to go. Please, please don’t throw me out.”
