The owner chuckled. I know, you young’uns like to play coy. But he’s a handsome one.”
Alice, blushing furiously, returned to her seat. Jack looked up.“What did the owner say?”
“N–nothing important. Master, is there anything you’d like to eat?”

“The Garcia family’s daughter is lovely, and her child is so well–behaved. She often visits to keep me company. Since you don’t have a girlfriend, why not marry someone from a suitable family? Don’t you think so?”
Jack’s face hardened, his eyes filled with a barely suppressed anger. His lips pressed together, but his voice remained calm.“Focus on your health, Mom.”
After some gentle soothing, he ended the call. He sent a text: [Investigate recent activities. surrounding the Garcia family.]
He stood for a moment, then turned to Alice, finding her sipping her beer. His eyebrows furrowed, and he strode towards her.“Who told you to drink that?“.
He took the beer from her hand. She tilted her head, looking at him defiantly.“Myself. Is there a problem?”

Jack swallowed, unable to speak. He carried her to the car.
He buckled her in, then sat in the driver’s seat, awkwardly avoiding her gaze. “Seatbelt.” Alice blinked.“Right, seatbelt. The life–saving belt!”
She reached for it, but it was jammed. How strange.
Jack leaned over and fastened it for her. They were very close. He smelled the beer on her. She could see the length of his eyelashes.
Alice held her breath, her heart pounding. She leaned in and kissed him. The action left her breathless.
He didn’t move, the streetlights blurring his features, hiding his expression. Alice stammered,“Master, if you don’t have a girlfriend… what do you think of me?” Jack’s pupils dilated. He recoiled as if shocked. His hands gripped the steering wheel.“You’re drunk.”
He started the car and drove towards the apartment, silent all the way. It took him a long time to calm down. At a red light, he glanced over. Alice was asleep.
He’d never felt such internal conflict, and she was asleep? He hoped she wouldn’t remember any of this

Jack’s fingers tightened around the glass. He felt like he was sinking, never to resurface. Moonlight streamed through the window. Jack watched the sleeping girl, sensing a change. The readers' comments on the novel: Six Brothers Plea for Forgiveness (Alice)
This story is incomplete!!! You get us into the story then you leave us with a cliff hanger. Plus there's so many errors. It is obvious that English is second ( or 3rd) language. Author has mixed up names on several characters. Mixed up he/she , him/her. Made story too long by repetitive sentences. Made it look like the reader wasnt able to retain parts of the story by repeating certain aspects. I know authors do that but this author did it too often. This story lets you see what an eye for an eye would mean to some cultures. Needs MAJOR proof reading. Pro: great family drama. The one emotion you feel the most in this story is anger & discuss. There are a few funny (actually hilarious) parts in there. You want the good guy to win even though he may been at fault for something. You want justice for Alice and you want to see her independent from her brothers totally. I feel the author is on the right track but just needs to clean it up....
Except Alice's and Jack's names, all other names are mixed. And why there is LUKE'S FATHER instead of EATHEN...
I want yo ask that wht Alice's surname is keep on changing from Wolsh to Windham to Lu???? And Andrew to Garett? And Jane's name to Chloe as well...
