Chapter 230
Blake felt a burning pain on his face. He hadn’t expected to be injured so severely. If the damage was permanent, his acting career would be over. He’d been aiming for Best Actor this year; now, his face was ruined, and his dreams were shattered.
Ethan pressed Blake down.“Calm down. Your wounds aren’t healed yet. You’re still on IV.”
“Brother, Alice ruined me! This was all planned. If she hadn’t set me up, I wouldn’t be injured!” Blake was in a frenzy, unable to listen to reason.
Ethan, seeing Blake’s injuries, hesitated.“Don’t worry, Four. Noah’s a doctor; repairing your face shouldn’t be a problem.”
Blake calmed down slightly, woking around.“Where’s Alice? She hurt me like this; is she afraid to see me?”
Noah approached.“Four, you were the one who attacked Alice. How could she have hurt you?” “Second Brother, you’re biased towards Alice, of course, you’ll defend her.” Blake refused to admit he’d started the fight; confessing would end his career. He was deliberately acting for the police, who approached them.
“Mr. Windham, why did you attack your sister? She’s also injured.”
“We were rehearsing a scene. I was coaching her, but she live–streamed it, sWindhaming me, and then called the police.” Blake sounded heartbroken, a victim of betrayal.
Chloe added, “Yes. Alice’s acting was terrible, delaying filming yesterday. Four was coaching her today. I never expected Alice to do this.”
Noah glared at Chloe.“Alice isn’t that kind of person.”
Blake’s voice was hoarse.“You can ask the crew about my sister’s poor acting and the delays. I’m telling the truth.”
“Mr. Windham, if you were rehearsing, why was Alice injured?”
“My sister wanted a realistic performance, but I didn’t hit her hard. Her injuries aren’t my fault.” Blake feigned weakness.“I never expected my sister to plot against me. I want to know why.” Ethan was furious.“Why? You tried to get Alice to drop the charges, and she refused. She plotted against you so you’d be out of her life.”
Chloe tried to smooth things over.“Brother, talk to Alice. SWindhaming Four like that is wrong.
Noah let out a cold laugh, disappointed in Ethan. He’d thought their sibling bond was strong, but Alice’s departure had revealed the truth.
“Noah, what’s that look?”
“Brother, you’ll regret this. One day, you’ll regret it more than I do.”

Noah left, determined to At the Yates family’s private hospital, Alice rested in bed. News of her live–streamed assault had spread like wildfire. Blake’s agency issued a statement, claiming they were rehearsing a scene. Alice had intended to record the rehearsal to practice at home but accidentally started a live stream, creating a misunderstanding. Public opinion largely sided with Blake. Alice didn’t respond; no matter what she said, Blake’s fans would attack her. She’d wait for the police investigation before releasing a statement.

Chapter 230
“Ms. Alice, you’re awake. May we speak with you?”
Alice saw the TG PR team again. Her expression was cold. “I’ve said I won’t cooperate.” “Ms. Alice, we’re your PR team now.” The lead woman handed her a card.Tm Alice. Contact me anytime.”
Alice was surprised by Jack’s speed. He’d poached Blake’s PR team.

Four’s situation is too messy; I’d rather work for you.” Alice was frank.“You shouldn’t give any media interviews. Take a leave from school. By the time you’re discharged, the investigation should be complete.” “That’s my plan,” Alice said, adding Alice’s contact information.“I won’t underpay you.” Alice was surprised but didn’t argue. Jack wanted to keep his involvement secret. Alice took a leave from school and texted Alice, asking her not to worry; she’d check on the team’s training after discharge.
Soon, Noah arrived but was stopped by the PR team. Alice said, “Ms. Alice needs rest. No visitors.
“I’m her brother.”
“We know. She doesn’t want to see anyone from the Windham family.” Alice knew everything about Alice, including the family’s treatment of her.
Noah looked at the room.“Alice, I’m here to check on you. I know Four was wrong. It’s not your fault.” He knew Blake’s nature; as a child, Blake had caused countless problems, leading to numerous parental meetings.
Alice pretended not to hear. She knew the Windham family’s behavior and didn’t want to waste
her time.
Alice, seeing Alice’s lack of response, told Noah, “She heard you, but she doesn’t want to see you. You can leave now.”
Noah refused.“Alice, Four’s face is probably ruined; he’s capable of anything. I’m not leaving you alone in the hospital.”

Jack strode over.“You’re the reason Alice’s hurt! You only bring her misfortune. Do you have the right to say you’re worried?”
The PR team instantly focused on their boss. Noah’s face was etched with bitterness.“I know, but this is different. Four doesn’t play by the rules.” Blake was connected to the underworld; Noah feared Blake would send someone to take Alice.
Jack’s eyes were cold.“Trying to take Alice from this hospital? You overestimate your family.” Hearing Jack’s voice, Alice went to the doorway. Her tone was cold.“Leave. Being associated with you only brings me misfortune!”
Noah grabbed her wrist.“Alice, I’m on your side. I… cough…”

The readers' comments on the novel: Six Brothers Plea for Forgiveness (Alice)
This story is incomplete!!! You get us into the story then you leave us with a cliff hanger. Plus there's so many errors. It is obvious that English is second ( or 3rd) language. Author has mixed up names on several characters. Mixed up he/she , him/her. Made story too long by repetitive sentences. Made it look like the reader wasnt able to retain parts of the story by repeating certain aspects. I know authors do that but this author did it too often. This story lets you see what an eye for an eye would mean to some cultures. Needs MAJOR proof reading. Pro: great family drama. The one emotion you feel the most in this story is anger & discuss. There are a few funny (actually hilarious) parts in there. You want the good guy to win even though he may been at fault for something. You want justice for Alice and you want to see her independent from her brothers totally. I feel the author is on the right track but just needs to clean it up....
Except Alice's and Jack's names, all other names are mixed. And why there is LUKE'S FATHER instead of EATHEN...
I want yo ask that wht Alice's surname is keep on changing from Wolsh to Windham to Lu???? And Andrew to Garett? And Jane's name to Chloe as well...
