“Brother, you can check the café’s surveillance footage, Noah said, looking at Chloe. It’ll show me saying that, and her kneeling and begging” 

Chloe was nervous, sweating 

Ethan frowned. “Noah, I’ll believe you this time. If the footage doesn’t prove what 

blame me for not believing you.” 

“Fine.” Noah said coldly to Chloe,“Still lying?”

“Noah, I’m telling the truth.” Chloe avoided his gaze. She needed an alibi if the footage surfaced. She couldn’t lose Ethan’s trust, and certainly not Ethan’s. Maybe she should contact… She offered fruit to Ethan “Brother, I’ll get more fruit.” 

“Stop! Don’t leave until we get the café footage. You might contact the Garcia family.” Noah knew Chloe couldn’t do much, but the Garcia family could. 

Chloe stood frozen, terrified. 

Ethan’s secretary called. “Did you get the footage?” 

“What? The café burned down last night. The footage is gone.” Ethan found this strange. Chloe breathed a sigh of relief. Good. She’d escaped. Was it that man or the Garcia family? Either way, she was safe. 

She shrunk her neck when Noah looked at her.“Noah, you don’t think I did it, do you? I was at the hospital with you all night. I wouldn’t dare to set fire to a place!” 

“You couldn’t, but the Garcia family could! You contacted them; otherwise, how would they know about the video?” Noah brought up his phone. The café footage is gone, but we have a 

witness!” 

A video played–a café employee’s testimony. Chloe was panicking. Impossible! “I saw four people arguing. One girl showed a laptop, a video; another girl knelt and begged. It seemed she’d done something wrong and been caught.” 

Chloe trembled. 

Noah looked at her. “Anything to say?” 

Chloe turned to Ethan. Brother, the laptop had the bar footage, but the Garcia family deleted the part about Max. Alice pressured me to testify. I was scared! The Garcia family would get me. Noah pressured me too, and I had to kneel and beg for mercy.” 

Noah said coldly, “Chloe, you’re lying!” 

“I’m not! Alice said hurtful things to provoke Noah, causing him to faint.” She sobbed. “If Noah thinks I did it, I’ll turn myself in.” 

She ran out, fearing what Noah might do. 

Ethan said angrily, “Why are you doing this to Chloe? You can’t make her take the blame for Alice! The Garcia family did it!” 

“Brother, Chloe isn’t who she seems. I only discovered this after seeing the video.” 

“Look after yourself. Chloe will stay with me. You don’t need to worry about her.”

Ethan left, leaving Noah to choke a mouthful of blood. He deserved this. “Noah, you’re bleeding! Luke helped him up.“Brother Ethan left with Chloe. He said to frame Chloe for Alice!” 

“Luke, believe me?” 

“I do.” Noah recounted the events at the café.” The footage is gone, and Ethan doesn’t believe me.” Luke was conflicted. “If I hadn’t seen the video, I wouldn’t believe Chloe drugged Alice. It’s unbelievable!” 

“I know. Even I didn’t believe it until I saw it myself!” Noah’s face was pale. “But don’t believe Chloe.” She’s not a good person. 

Luke nodded, although he was suspicious of a misunderstanding between Alice and Chloe. Noah. looked very ill. 

Noah grasped Luke’s hand. Find out where Alice is. Tell her, even if I die, I’ll get justice for her!” Luke agreed. He tried to contact Alice but found she’d blocked him. He used a different number. 

Alice’s voice was cold.“What?” 

“Noah’s in the hospital. He’s worried about you. Come see him.” 

“Chloe’s there. I don’t need to go. 

“Noah doesn’t like Chloe anymore. He sent her away.” 

Luke thought about what Noah had said.“Alice, was Chloe the one who drugged you at the bar?” 

“Did you see the video?” 

“No. Noah said the USB drive is missing. He suspects Chloe, but there’s no proof.” Alice had already guessed this. What bad luck for Chloe. 

“Chloe’s lucky to have escaped.” 

Luke was still doubtful.“Is there a misunderstanding? Did she really do that?” “Tell Chloe she got lucky this time. This isn’t over. Tell her to watch out!” Alice hung up. She looked at Luke.“Noah’s USB drive was taken by Chloe.” 

“Bad luck that Noah fainted. Since the footage is gone, we can’t do anything.” 

Alice smirked.“No. Even without the footage, I have a way.” She wouldn’t let this go.
