restaurant. 

Aurelia ate the fruits while chatting with Nancy on WhatsApp simultaneously.

The moment Matthew sat down, a faint whiff of perfume wafted over. Aurelia had always been sensitive to scents, so her nose twitched slightly. She was not a fan of perfumes, and Matthew, on the other hand, did use some men’s cologne, although it was always subtly applied. 

The faint scent of perfume he wore clearly wasn’t the kind typically used by men. 

After offering a somewhat distant smile to Matthew, Aurelia began to savor the signature dish. 

The dish appeared rather tempting at first glance. 

After noticing Aurelia’s polite distance, Matthew gazed at her with a profound look in his eyes, “Tired?” 

“I’m fine. Just hungry,” Aurelia replied. 

“Is it just that you’re hungry?” 

Matthew’s cold gaze narrowed slightly, revealing an intimidating aura about him unintentionally. 

At first, Aurelia didn’t notice, largely because the restaurant that Gordon had chosen served incredibly delicious food. 

Jacaster also had signature dishes of Kenfort, but none were as authentic and delicious as those served in this restaurant. 

Gordon sharply noticed that Matthew had suddenly become unhappy for some unknown reason. This startled him to the point where he dared not continue eating.

It was only after Aurelia had eaten her fill that she realized neither Matthew nor Gordon had touched their food.

Since it’s my first time here, I definitely want to explore and take some photos at the scenic area. But, I don’t want to waste your time, Aurelia explained naturally. 

Matthew’s expression was icy, just as he was about to speak, his phone suddenly rang. 

Unsure of what the person on the other end of the phone had said, but Matthew’s expression grew even more solemn. “Wait at the hospital. I’ll be there soon.” 

Hospital? 

Aurelia’s expression faltered for a moment. 

“I had some matters to attend to, so I had to leave early. After dinner, I’ll have my Gordon escort you call tomorrow.”
