The other three guys froze, staring at him.

“Damn, Steven. Did you pull an all–nighter or what?” Seamus said, sounding jealous and irritated. “Slow down, man. We’re still young–you trying to kill yourself already?”

Luke and Chad both burst out laughing.

Steven rolled his eyes. “I’m young, I’ve got plenty of stamina. What’s there to worry about?.

Seamus gawked at him, eyes practically bulging out of his head. “You seriously went all day and all night? Dude, are you crazy? Think about your kidneys!”

Even as he said it, the envy on his face was obvious.

Steven sighed helplessly. “Seamus, is that really the only thing your brain ever lands on?”

Seamus fired back right away. “Oh, don’t play innocent after getting all the perks. You’re out here living every guy’s dream, and now I can’t even comment on it?”

Luke laughed. “We seriously need to get Seamus a girlfriend already, or he’s gonna start obsessing over the rest of our love lives.”

Steven grinned and nodded. “Yeah. We’ll find him a big, chubby girl.”

Steven’s heart skipped a beat. Crap–almost slipped.

“Come on, man. With that bad–boy face of yours, there’s no way you don’t have a girlfriend. Who are you kidding?”

“Steven, now that’s what I’m talking about! You’ve got taste, brother! Good thing I was born this handsome!”

Seamus looked completely devastated.

Luke let out a smug laugh. “Didn’t do much. Just kissed a bit.”

Seamus looked like he was about to crack from jealousy. “Damn it, I want that too!”

“Get lost.”

“Fine.”

The whole dorm burst out laughing again. Even Chad could only shake his head helplessly.

“What a troublemaker,” he muttered.

Then Seamus immediately turned back to Luke. “So, Luke, how long have you two been together? Let me be jealous in peace for a minute here. Is your girlfriend pretty?”

Luke rolled his eyes. “Of course, she’s pretty.

“We started dating in high school, but we’ve known each other since elementary school. We basically grew up together.”

Seamus grabbed his hair dramatically and widened his eyes. “You think I’m jealous? Not at all!”

Everyone burst into laughter again.

Then Seamus suddenly turned to Chad. “Chad, don’t tell me you’ve got one too. If you do, I’m done for.”

Chad shook his head. “Don’t worry. I’m single. I’ll keep you company.”

Seamus let out a long breath of relief and hugged him. “Chad, it’s just us against the world now,” he said dramatically. “Forget those two. Let’s go find ourselves some girls.”
