Reborn: Apocalypse Ready. War Goddess by My Side novel Chapter 367

Steven’s mind raced through the calculations.

An A–rank Four–Sigil Divine Knight at level thirty one would have started with a base stat of three or four points back at Divine Awakening, most likely three.

Following that math, level ten meant thirty points, level twenty meant six hundred, and level thirty meant twelve thousand.

That put level thirty one somewhere around twenty four thousand points total.

Split evenly across all four physical attributes, that worked out to roughly six thousand points in each

category.

He might be able to hold his own against the level thirty one fighter, but the other two sat at level thirty two and thirty three, with single stat values closer to twelve thousand and twenty four thousand respectively.

He’d taken down level four beasts out in the field before, but always with a full team backing him up. Facing three opponents like this alone meant he had to be careful.

The real key to ending this fight had to be Abigail herself.

He needed to find a way to close the distance and reach her directly.

The detonator for every bomb in this building almost certainly sat somewhere on her person.

There wasn’t time left to think any further.

All three Four–Sigil Divine Knights unleashed a wave of crushing pressure and charged straight at Steven.

That pressure alone felt like enough to crush all hope out of anyone caught beneath it.

Lilliana felt that same despair settle deep in her chest. A single Two–Sigil fighter facing three Four–Sigil Divine Knights sounded impossible, the kind that ended badly.

No matter how strong Steven was, there was no realistic way he could win this.

A wave of bitter sorrow rose inside her. Why did any of them have to cross paths with a monster like this?

Abigail wasn’t just twisted, she was the very embodiment of madness given human shape, a complete and total monster.

Steven’s power surged to its absolute peak.

The lean, almost skeletal fighter at level thirty one made the first move.

He closed the distance with terrifying Speed, appearing right in front of Steven in an instant.

His weapon was a long, ornately etched saber.

The blade came down in a single strike, carrying enough force to split Steven clean in half.

Steven’s eyes blazed with fury, and he let out a fierce roar.

His spear thrust out to meet the blow.

The saber and the spear collided with a sharp clash of steel.

In that instant, Steven felt the terrifying strength radiating off his opponent.

Dust and debris swirled through the air around them.

The impact sent Steven skidding backward.

He stumbled several steps before catching himself, his mind racing. So the numbers held up.

Level thirty one’s strength really did land close to his own estimate.

His opponent looked equally startled.

“A Two–Sigil with Strength like this? Now that’s interesting. Still, you’re going to die regardless.”

He surged forward again without hesitation.

The other two Divine Knights joined the assault, their voices cutting through the chaos. “Don’t waste any more time on this. Finish him and let’s collect our payment!”

The lean fighter struck again.

His saber swung down with a force so terrifying it crushed any sense of hope.

Steven’s Eye of Insight let him dodge certain strikes and spot weaknesses in his opponents‘ forms.

But against this kind of overwhelming strength, none of that mattered.

Raw power could shatter any technique thrown against it.

This was absolute domination, the same crushing weight he’d inflicted on those Three–Sigil Divine Adepts minutes earlier, now turned against him.

Steven roared with everything he had.

“Thousand Wave Tide!”

Spear Aura erupted around him, his technique honed to its absolute peak, unleashed in one massive wave.

A surge like crashing surf tore through the air toward his enemies.

The three Divine Knights barely needed effort to shatter it apart.

Their combined Strength crashed down on Steven without mercy.

Even his S–rank battle armor buckled under the impact, denting visibly.

That armor, built to withstand devastating force, still couldn’t absorb enough of the blow.

Steven flew backward, hurled across the warehouse for over three hundred feet.

The force sent him flying backward again.

His body slammed into a steel support column hard enough to leave a deep dent and a visible bend in metal that should have taken a crane to budge.

Seamus stopped begging Steven to save him.

Tears poured down his face without end.

“Steven, run! Just avenge us someday! Please, go!”

Steven spat out another mouthful of blood.

His face had turned almost ghostly pale.

Abigail mimed wiping away a tear, her voice dripping with mockery. “How touching. I’m almost moved to mercy. Bow to me, and I’ll let you live.”

She played the part of a monster to absolute perfection.

Steven gathered every last ounce of will left in him.

He drove his foot into the ground with explosive force.

His entire body shot forward like a missile launched from its housing.

“Windfire Skyfall!”

Every drop of Strength left in his body erupted outward like a dam giving way all at once.

Flames swallowed the entire warehouse in blinding light.

It looked ready to burn the whole world down to ash.

That sea of fire, carried on the edge of one devastating thrust, crashed head on into the three Divine Knights who’d faced him with such contempt only moments before.

They were forced to face this terrifying wall of flame now.
