It was Nelson.

By evening, Nelson could hardly contain his excitement.

“Amy, I’ll introduce you to Steven and Bianca later. We’re pretty close, so don’t worry.”

Amelia smiled and nodded. “Okay.”

“Honestly, the thought of becoming friends with Bianca feels like a dream.”

Nelson puffed out his chest, trying to sound nonchalant. “There’s no need to get so excited. Steven, Bianca, and I have been good friends since high school. As long as you’re with me, you’ll be friends with them sooner or later.”

Amelia’s cheeks warmed at his words. “We’ve only known each other for a short time… and you’re already talking about spending the rest of your life with me?”

Her playful teasing was already making it hard for Nelson to think straight.

Amelia shot him a playful look. “Then you’d better keep working hard.”
