Abigail narrowed her eyes at Elliot.

Elliot sneered. “Your family is behind Steven’s disappearance, right?”

The moment Abigail heard that, she snapped, “Stop throwing accusations at us! What does his disappearance have to do with us?”

Elliot laughed.

“Pathetic. Really pathetic.”

He walked over to Bianca’s side and said, “Bianca, don’t waste your time on someone this shameless. If she dares to do anything to you, I will be the first one to stop her!”

Elliot was sure Bianca must see him in a much better light now.

Come on, Bianca. Look at me like I’m your hero.

Abigail saw right through him.

She let out a cold laugh. “Elliot, who do you think you’re talking to? If you want Bianca, then be honest about it. Don’t hide behind cheap accusations and drag my family’s name through the mud. You really think my family is afraid of yours?”

Elliot sneered. “Who said I was trying to go after Bianca? We’re from the same high school, and now we’re in the same class. I just can’t stand how disgusting you’re being. Stop bothering Bianca. She’s Rowenville’s hope for the future. Don’t make trouble for no reason. Go home and play with your little servants instead. Do you really think no one knows what your family has done?”

Abigail glared at him. “If you don’t explain yourself today, I’ll give you the lesson your family clearly didn’t!”

Bianca was getting annoyed by both of them.

Elliot laughed mockingly. “Last month, your family sent people to Steven’s home, and Steven disappeared right around that same time. You don’t actually think you can hide that forever, do you?”

After a month away, Steven finally returned to the Awakened Academy.

It really felt like a lifetime had passed.

He had almost not made it back.

Everyone probably thought he was dead.

Just then, he suddenly heard someone mention Bianca.

Quentin shook his head. “I’m not getting mixed up in that. Our family is powerful, but we’re not on the same level as the Frasers or the Reads yet. Right now, Abigail and her brother, along with Elliot, are clearly all going after her. We shouldn’t get involved.”

Oscar nodded. “Well, if that bastard Steven is dead, then good. At least it’s revenge for Timothy.”

“You’re still alive?!”
