Hearing that Stella's Digestive Pill would prevent any weight gain, Sabrina immediately yelled toward Carter, "Carter! Is your octopus done yet?"
Carter shouted back, "It's done! I made a ton! Come get it if you want some!" He said, polishing off another grilled oyster.
Fenton chimed in loudly, "I've got roasted starfish over here! Step right up if you want a taste!"
Stella watched her best friend sprint off and chuckled softly, focusing her attention back on grilling food for Julius. He had said he'd sneak over for a bite tonight.
But every time she finished grilling a batch, one of her old masters would immediately swoop in and snatch it away.
The special marinade certainly elevated the flavor, but the food cooked by their precious disciple was still undeniably the best—never overcooked, never undercooked.
Perfectly charred to mouthwatering perfection.
Helpless, Stella had no choice but to wait until her masters were completely stuffed before she could finally set aside a plate for Julius.
Worried they wouldn't be able to wake up the next morning, no one dared to stay out too late. They started wrapping things up by eleven.
Julius had arrived past ten but had stayed hidden in his car in the distance, silently watching.
Only after everyone had gone back inside the villa did he step out of his car and quietly slip into Stella's room.
Stella handed him the final plate of perfectly grilled skewers.
"You sure know how to pick your timing. These are the last batch, still piping hot. Eat them before they get cold, or they won't taste good."
"I've been here for a while. I thought I'd have an appetizer before the main course."
Stella looked at him in confusion. "What appetizer?"
Where was there an appetizer? Why hadn't she seen one?
Julius chuckled softly. "You are the appetizer."
