Noelle watched as Laura gave a fiery speech on the stage. She saw that Laura seemed determined to get every single guest to kneel and pledge loyalty to her.

Noelle was utterly dumbfounded.

She had always wondered how Laura was able to do it, but it turned out that Laura had joined a scam company and learned to scam other people.

Credit where credit was due, Laura was pretty good at it, too. Some of the guests ran up the stage to interact with Laura, but Noelle could tell that they were just actors planted among the crowd.

Noelle looked up at Cedric and asked, "Say, do you think PZ Group is one of those MLM organizations?"

There was no other way to explain Laura turning into a completely different person after becoming a general manager for PZ Group. She had become a complete scammer.

Cedric pursed his lips. "Who knows?"

He was extremely annoyed by the sight around him.

Noelle gave his hand a gentle squeeze. She could tell that he was already at his limit.

Just then, one of the guests walked over to Noelle and said, "Why aren't you heading up to the stage? Ms. Merlock used to be the number one socialite, you know? It's worth it to get a selfie with her to post on your social media accounts."

Noelle felt rather awkward. "What else can I get from taking a photo with Ms. Merlock other than just posting it online?"

"Ms. Merlock's gotten her hands on a huge investment project with a hundredfold return on our investments. She snatched it from the hands of the likes of the Greene family.

"It's our chance to get rich! Hurry up, or you'll miss your chance to get a share."

Noelle felt that the whole thing was ridiculous. She could not come up with a better example of a pyramid scheme.

Just then, Laura looked in their direction from the stage.

"My friends, is something bothering you? We're all one big family trying to get rich together. Feel free to share your thoughts or even your worries if you have any."
