No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric) novel Chapter 1115

Cedric smiled faintly after hearing what Noelle had to say. Noelle then asked nervously, "What do you think?"

He replied, "We also discussed multiple plans earlier, including the plan that you mentioned. We'll go with whichever plan is more reliable when the time comes. It might even be the one that you talked about."

She let out a light cough and replied, "That makes sense. You've got a professional team. I'm sure they know what to do."

Cedric held her hand. "No need to be shy. You've never been through anything like this, after all. The fact that you could come up with such an idea is already pretty impressive."

Noelle only felt even more embarrassed after hearing him trying to comfort her.

She had lived through two lifetimes, anyway.

Unfortunately, she had lived her past life as a stepping stone for others, so she had not experienced anything like a fight between businesses or business operations in general. She was a complete novice when it came to managing a business.

Noelle took a look at the time and said, "I'll stay and work overtime with you at the office."

Cedric replied, "There's no need. I know that you want to stay with me, but I'd rather you go back to campus and get some rest. You'll have something to do later, just not now."

She nodded. "Alright then, I'll go back to the dorm."

He still held onto her hand before letting go of it reluctantly. He actually wished for her to be by his side all the time.

But if his enemies insist on causing trouble, he would not spare them any mercy.

Noelle thought for a moment and said, "There's something wrong with PZ Group. If you or your family has any sort of ties or partnership with them, I suggest that you cut ties with them as soon as possible."

Cedric squinted and asked, "What makes you say that?"

"It's not something I can explain in just a few words. But since both that woman and Laura had gone to PZ Group, it means that we're bound to come across them eventually."

She saw a car parked right in front of them. It was apparent that it had been waiting there for some time.

Before getting in the car, Noelle suddenly turned around, hugged Cedric, and tiptoed to give him a kiss. She wanted to run off right after kissing him, but she was already grabbed by the wrist.

Cedric then pinned her on the car door with his hand shielding the back of her head before leaning down to kiss her on the lips.

Flustered, Noelle pushed at him. "That's enough. There's people around us."

It was only then that Cedric stopped. He wiped the corner of her mouth and replied, "Get in the car."

If they dragged on any longer, he might not be letting her leave anymore.

Noelle blushed as she got into the car. She then looked back at the tall and lean man standing outside. She felt that no matter what was going to happen, there was nothing she could not deal with so long as he was by her side.
