My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 188

Sienna glanced at the screen and completely froze.

Sebastian.

Her heart slammed against her ribs. With trembling fingers, she swiped to answer.

"Hello?" she breathed, her voice dripping with careful anticipation.

A heavy beat of silence passed before Sebastian finally spoke.

"Sienna, are you free? Let's meet up."

Her pulse skyrocketed.

He was actually initiating contact?

For the past month, she had called him dozens of times and sent hundreds of texts, all completely ignored.

And now he was reaching out to her?

"I... yes, I'm free," she stammered, fighting to keep her excitement in check.

"When?"

"Three o'clock today. The Westside Grounds, right near your place."

"Fine. I'll see you at three."

"Okay."

The call ended.

Clutching the phone to her chest, a slow, triumphant smile spread across Sienna's face.

She had no idea why Sebastian wanted to see her out of nowhere, but this was the opening she had prayed for.

A chance to worm her way back into his life.

She threw off the covers, practically sprinting to her walk-in closet.

She carefully selected a pristine white dress, applied a soft, innocent style of makeup, and checked her reflection from every angle until she looked absolutely flawless before heading out.

At exactly 3:00 PM, she stepped into Westside Grounds.

Sebastian was already seated at a secluded table.

Sienna approached him, offering a sweet smile. "Sebastian, it's been a while."

He barely glanced up from his coffee, his voice entirely deadpan. "Yeah."

Sienna instantly realized this wasn't a romantic reunion.

Her smile tightened slightly. "Did you want to talk about something specific?"

"But I have a condition."

Sebastian narrowed his eyes. "Name it."

The corners of her mouth curled up into a terrifyingly calm smile. "I want you to marry me."

Sebastian's brow snapped together in absolute disbelief. "Excuse me?"

"I said, I want you to marry me."

She met his furious stare without blinking. "You help me clear my name in society, and I get you the patent. The moment it's finalized, we get married."

Sebastian stared at her as if she had sprouted a second head, then let out a harsh, incredulous laugh.

"Are you out of your mind?"

Sienna didn't flinch, her voice terrifyingly rational. "I'm completely sane. Think about it, Sebastian."

"You know better than anyone what that tech means to your family. Without it, your massive expansion into the energy sector is dead in the water. You'll lose millions and become a laughingstock."

"And all you have to do is marry me. I will ensure you get it."

Sebastian's voice dropped to a glacial whisper. "You honestly think I'd sell myself for a piece of paper?"

Sienna delicately picked up her latte, taking a slow sip. "You will."
