My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 105

Little Bean was vibrating with pure excitement, squealing quietly, "Ahhh! Daddy climbed into bed! Mommy! Daddy is in the bed!"

Seraphina took a slow, deep breath, rolled onto her side so her back was to him, and forced herself to project total calm.

"Then go to sleep," she said, keeping her voice incredibly steady.

In reality, she felt like her heart was about to pound right out of her chest.

Her senses were flooded with his distinctly masculine scent.

Silence hung heavily behind her for several long seconds.

Then, she felt his solid, scorching body inch closer.

She could feel the radiant heat rolling off him.

"Sera," he suddenly called out.

"Yeah?"

"Nothing," he murmured. "Go to sleep."

She heard him let out a soft sigh. His warm breath brushed against the nape of her neck, sending a violently pleasurable shiver down her spine.

Seraphina bit her lower lip, too terrified to move a muscle.

The room was so dead silent that she could only hear their synchronized breathing.

She had no idea when she finally passed out, but when she woke up the next morning, she was completely cocooned in Lucian's arms.

Her back was pressed flush against his broad chest, his heavy arm was clamped securely around her waist, and his chin rested softly on top of her head.

They looked exactly like a deeply, passionately in love married couple.

Seraphina froze solid, absolutely terrified to breathe.

She could feel the steady, powerful thud of his heartbeat against her back.

Little Bean was already awake, giggling gleefully. "Mommy, don't move! Just stay like that and let Daddy hold you a little longer!"

Just as Seraphina was about to pull away, Lucian's sleep-roughened voice rumbled above her.

"Don't move."

His arm tightened around her waist, pulling her even flush against him.

"Five more minutes."

Seraphina: "..."

She honestly didn't move an inch.

Exactly five minutes later, Lucian released her with military precision.

"I'm going to wash up," he announced, sliding out of bed and walking barefoot into the bathroom.

Sienna was boiling with rage. Was he thinking about that bitch Seraphina?

She had orchestrated the perfect opportunity for them to bond, and it was being completely wasted.

Sienna stood up and padded over in her slippers.

"Sebastian, smoking this early is terrible for your health," she said softly, reaching out to pluck the cigarette from his fingers.

Sebastian let her take it, watching her crush it out in the ashtray.

"Couldn't sleep? Is something bothering you?" Sienna asked with sickening sweetness.

Sebastian replied coldly, "I'm fine."

Did he look fine?

Sienna pressed her lips together, forcing down the acidic jealousy bubbling in her chest, and suddenly spoke.

"When I went down to grab breakfast this morning, I saw Lucian Langford."

Sebastian's eyelashes flickered, but he said nothing.

"He was walking out of Sera's room," Sienna added, meticulously watching his reaction.

"He must have stayed over. I asked the front desk later, and they said absolutely no one left Room 3018 all night."
