Sonny was surprised for a moment, not expecting Kaden to ask him to accompany Everly to a banquet.

“Bodyguards and your secretary still aren’t enough to protect you. It’s only sufficient if a powerful person goes with you. Mr. Brown is the perfect choice. He keeps a low profile here in Clearfield, but with his identity, who would dare look down on him?”
