Chapter 96 

“What are you saying? I don’t understand a word. Stop it and go back to rest!” Scott responded coldly, his impatience evident in his eyes. 

Emil said nothing more and turned to leave. 

Scott watched Fmil’s figure until he completely disappeared down the hallway. 

Scott breathed a sigh of relief and glanced meaningfully towards Lola’s room before leaving 

Dominick and Ethan hid in the shadows, waiting for the surroundings to quiet down before emerging from the garden. 

“This is getting interesting. Honestly, I didn’t get it.” Ethan brushed off the dust from his clothes. 

Dominick’s paze fell on the room on the third floor where the light was still on, Ignoring Ethan’s words. 

“You…” Ethan understood what Dominick was thinking and sighed softly. 

“Should I wait for you in your room? Feel free to watch a little longer if you want.” 

Ethan’s unexpected response surprised Dominick. 

His words implied that he trusted Dominick not to disturb Lola’s rest late at night 

Dominick nodded slightly, not saying much. 

The weather wasn’t great today, with no moon in sight, and the chilly wind blowing intermittently. 

Dominick only had on a pajama and couldn’t bear the cold, but he had no intention of leaving

“Mr. Sinclair, what are you doing here?” 

Dominick pressed his lips into a thin line. The last time they met like this, it seemed they were still on the island. 

“Just wandering around,” he said casually, refreshing his memories alone. 

Lola spoke after some hesitation, thanking Dominick for dealing with the rumors after careful consideration. “Um… Thank you for helping me

“You seem to like thanking me a lot,” Dominick interrupted Lola.
