Before Valerie could say another word, Hayden Thorne materialized beside her and snatched the microphone right out of her hand.

Tall, imposing, and radiating absolute authority, his sheer presence commanded the room's undivided attention. The crowd had been struggling to reconcile the brilliant Zoe Lynd with the image of a desperate homewrecker, but Valerie's relentless accusations had left them with little room for doubt.

Valerie stared up at Hayden, completely paralyzed by fear.

In the audience, Sienna's heart flatlined.
