I Fell for the Man Who Ruined Me, Then He Forgot He Ever Loved Me Back novel Chapter 253

Up to this point, this was the third time Sienna remembered slapping him.

It was also the weakest and least intimidating one of them all.

The space was cramped, and she was forced to use her non-dominant left hand.

When her palm connected, it didn't even leave a red mark on the man's face, but the impact sent a stinging jolt through her own hand.

Jorrod slowly turned his head back. His half-narrowed eyes were dark, the dangerous heat in them entirely unextinguished. His gaze was scorching, hitting her with an intensity that felt like it could pierce straight through her soul.

In a flash, he recalled how, in the past, Sienna had seemed to possess a particular fondness for hitting him and biting him.

She had even enjoyed tying him up...

[You young people play hard. I'm too old to understand it.]

The driver's words suddenly echoed in his mind.

"So, this is what you're into?" Jorrod had never understood it, nor had he ever considered it, but if it made her happy, he was willing to play along.

"Into what! I'm not into anything!"

Seeing her raise her hand, intending to bring another slap down on him, Jorrod swiftly reached up and caught her wrist. He pulled her hand closer to inspect her slightly reddened palm, frowning. "Doesn't your hand hurt?"

Hearing that bizarrely concerned tone, Sienna saw red. "None of your business! You're the one who's supposed to hurt! Jorrod Vaughn! I'm going to—"

Jorrod easily grabbed her other hand off the door handle. Pinning both of her wrists together, he pressed them firmly into his lap. His deep, gravelly voice vibrated through the small cabin. "If you want to hit me, wait until we get home. I'll let you hit me as much as you want."

"For now, just rest."

As soon as the words left his mouth, his breathing hitched, and he descended for another kiss.

Sienna bit him again.

With a muffled groan of pain, Jorrod finally stopped.

He pulled back just enough to see the woman's fiercely disgruntled expression, practically screaming her need to lash out.

"You absolutely have to hit me right now?" His voice was raw and impossibly calm. Unhurried, he maintained his one-handed grip on her wrists while his right hand expertly loosened his tie. Pulling the silk fabric from his collar, he shoved it into her hands. "Don't use your hands. If you want to hit me, use something else."

He was insane. Absolutely out of his mind!

Sienna felt like he had lost it, and she was losing it right along with him.

For a moment, in the sealed cabin of the car, aside from their breathing, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

After a long pause, his voice broke the silence, sounding terrifyingly flat. "And getting back together?"

"What getting back together?" Sienna's chest heaved. She didn't know if she was out of breath from the kiss or just furious. "Whether it was a misunderstanding or we just weren't compatible, it's over! It ended! And I would rather die than go back to an ex!"

She shoved his hand off the door handle and scrambled out of the car.

After taking two steps, she spun back around.

Jorrod looked up blankly, watching as she tore off the watch he had so carefully fastened to her wrist just minutes ago. She chucked it straight into the passenger seat, the heavy metal bouncing lightly against the leather.

"Keep your watch! If I had known you were this delusional, I never would have come down here."

Her face bright red with embarrassment and fury, Sienna shot him one last glare before spinning on her heel and marching away.

Her rapid footsteps echoed loudly in the cavernous parking garage, full of indignant anger.

Jorrod's eyelashes slowly lowered, the thick, dark fringe completely obscuring his eyes, hiding whatever storm was raging inside. He turned his head slightly, his gaze falling to the passenger seat.
