Her Hidden Hero from the Unwritten Page novel Chapter 37

She checked the creator's username.

*Whitney_Official*.

Whitney Harper?

Surprised, Winona opened the comment section. Setting aside the simps praising her looks, half the comments were name-dropping 'Top Dono'.

[Top Dono is gonna get jealous when he sees this lol.]

[Hahaha remember when Whitney posted that video in a mini skirt, and Top Dono said he wanted to pay to have it taken down?]

[Ngl, Whitney and Top Dono are kinda cute together.]

*Could this 'Top Dono' be my idiot brother, hopelessly simping?*

Driven by suspicion, Winona combed through the comment sections of all of Whitney's videos until she finally tracked down Top Dono's TikTok account.

His profile picture was the steering wheel of a luxury car, and his username was *Loves_W*.

Loves_W...

Winona's mouth twitched. She watched the only two videos posted on the account and confirmed it. It definitely wasn't her idiot brother. It looked like some middle-aged guy with a bit of cash.

She relaxed slightly and settled in to spectate the drama in the comments.

The gist was that Whitney livestreamed every week, and this Top Dono would always shower her with insane amounts of digital gifts. His comments were always aggressively domineering.

Things like: "Don't wear that outfit," "I'll get jealous," "Everyone shut up," and "Haters get out, don't watch Whitney's stream."

From numerous highlight clips, it was obvious that Whitney ate it up, always delivering long, breathless speeches thanking Top Dono for his support.

Winona leaned back in her chair, laughing as she scrolled.

She took a screenshot and sent it to Seth.

Seth was your standard edgy teenager suffering from main character syndrome. His profile picture was an angsty black-and-white anime guy.

Unfortunately for him, Winona had him saved as 'idiot brother'.

Idiot brother: [?]

This time, she flat-out refused to repeat that mistake.

With her homework out of the way, Winona dug out her freshman math textbook and a few practice workbooks, diving in to read and take notes.

Meanwhile.

Inside a luxury condo downtown.

The family of three had only recently moved in, so the apartment still felt a bit empty. Whitney Harper was sweating from organizing her things when Isabella pushed the door open, carrying a glass of juice.

Whitney snapped, annoyed, "Mom! How many times have I told you? Knock before you come into my room!"

"Okay, okay," Isabella replied with good-natured patience. "Mom's sorry. Mom will definitely knock next time."

Whitney's frown deepened, her irritation entirely unsoothed. "You say that every single time, and you never change."

Being scolded to her face by her daughter stung Isabella's pride, but since Whitney was the one bringing money into the house every month, she forced down her displeasure and squeezed out a smile. "Mom will definitely knock next time."
