Verity:
I gave him a cheeky grin before stepping into the bathroom after only shutting down the guestroom door.
Once inside, I began taking deep, heavy breaths.
What should I do? I wondered.
Wait. What if I find some proof that he’s cheating on me or something and make a huge deal out of it?
I gently touched my chin as I considered the idea.
I mean, it seemed like he didn’t just want to sleep with me.
He wanted to pretend our relationship was genuine, even when there was nothing genuine about it.
In his twisted mind, as long as we didn’t talk about the blackmail, he could pretend that what was happening between us was normal and consensual.
So I came up with a plan.
It was pretty apparent that Roman had already thought about what he was going to do once I was in his home.
He was also very open about where we would do it.
The condoms were scattered across the dresser in the guest room.
I scoffed and rolled my eyes before approaching them.
The door wasn’t completely open, but it wasn’t locked either, so I had to be very careful.
Moving as quietly as possible, I grabbed all the condoms and hid them behind the curtain before checking every drawer.
But if he had some in his bedroom, that would be a problem.
I had a plan for that, too.
If he went into his bedroom to get condoms in front of me, I’d follow him in right away.
I’d come up with something to make him uncomfortable enough to start an argument between us, so we’d kind of forget about sex for a while.
Then, I changed into a very dramatic, sultry silk nightgown.
It was a one-piece with a plunging neckline and a hem that fell just low enough to cover half of my ass cheeks.
And because I had pretty wide hips, it was even harder for the fabric to cover my ass.
I left my hair loose, tossing it forward and ruffling it before lifting my head and walking over to the door.
The minute I opened it, I placed one hand on the frame and the other on my waist, raising one shoulder as I gave him a look.
He was on his phone when he noticed me standing in the doorway.
The look he gave me was as if he’d been struck by an electric current.
He immediately tried to put his phone in his pocket, but it slipped from his hand and landed on the floor.
"Your phone?" I asked.
He waved a hand dismissively, letting me know that his phone didn’t matter anymore.
Before he could straighten his back, I grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and pulled him toward me.
"Someone’s in the mood," he remarked, sounding rather shocked.
"Why not? It’s my first time with my boyfriend," I murmured, slamming the door shut before dragging him toward the bed and pushing him onto it.
I climbed onto the bed, placing one knee between his legs as I moved on top of him.
