Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 1251

"I brought my son back," Sebastian said. "I want him to receive his education here. I also want him to spend time with Lillian. Regardless of everything, we are all bound by blood."

Hearing this, Brandon's mind began to race.

The Mercer family was desperately trying to pull Lillian back into the fold. Noah's return was phenomenal news. What better way to win Lillian over than through her own son?

When Brandon remained silent, Sebastian immediately caught on.

He knew exactly what the Mercer family was scheming because it mirrored his own thoughts.

Sebastian chuckled softly. "Don't overthink it, Mr. Mercer. Someone else has already ruined that path."

They were both sharp men; there was no need to guess each other's intentions.

Brandon demanded, "What do you mean? Who did what?"

"Bella," Sebastian replied. "Since I brought him back, I arranged for Lillian to see him twice. The first time was at Halfridge Villas. Noah met his grandmother, threw a tantrum because he didn't know her, and she hit him. You know how spoiled he is. He said some very hurtful things to Lillian right on the spot. Today, the boy was sick, and I asked Lillian to visit him again."

Brandon realized that Sebastian must have been at Halfridge Villas that morning for this exact reason.

"And? What exactly did Bella do?"

Even before Sebastian elaborated, Brandon was furious.

When Bella walked in and saw Sebastian, genuine joy lit up her face.

She was already in a fantastic mood. Having poured two years into meticulously brainwashing that child during his most formative years, she knew exactly how he would turn out. She was certain Lillian had suffered a crushing, humiliating blow today.

Basking in that twisted victory, combined with finally seeing Sebastian after so long, made her thrilled.

Beneath the greed and ambition, she still harbored a twisted sort of love for the man.

But Sebastian's face was made of stone. His voice was freezing as he spoke.

"Bella, I'm warning you. Stay away from my son!"
