Family on Their Knees Heart Turned to Ice novel Chapter 1112

Lillian turned and saw Mrs. Prescott approaching.

She had originally come to the airport specifically for the Prescotts. Although bumping into Beatrice was a wonderful surprise and she had so much left to say, she had to attend to her primary duty first.

Lillian offered a polite wave and called out, "Mr. Prescott, Mrs. Prescott."

She then turned back to the older woman. "Beatrice, you won't be leaving the country too soon, will you?"

Beatrice smiled warmly and nodded. "I'll be staying for quite some time. Go on, sweetheart, attend to your business. We'll find a quiet moment to sit down and catch up properly very soon."

That was exactly what Lillian was hoping for. "Perfect. I'll reach out to you, Beatrice."

After bidding the Winthrop matriarch farewell, Lillian hurried over to greet Leonard's parents.

The moment Mrs. Prescott laid eyes on Lillian, her affection was impossible to hide.

She had wholeheartedly approved of Lillian as her future daughter-in-law from day one.

In her eyes, Lillian and Leonard were a match undeniably woven together by fate.

Mrs. Prescott beamed. "Lillian, your complexion is radiant. It's clear you've been taking wonderful care of yourself. Seeing you look so healthy brings me so much joy."

Lillian returned her warm embrace. "Thank you, Mrs. Prescott."

Mr. Prescott chimed in, not wanting to be left out. "Lillian, you continue to surpass all our expectations. To be completely honest, I have nothing but the utmost admiration for you. However, over the past few months, we've been quite worried about your well-being. We were terrified that you were working yourself into the ground and neglecting your health. Seeing you in person today certainly puts our minds at ease."

Lillian offered a reassuring smile. "Please don't worry. Leonard and I always ensure we prioritize our health. We maintain a very balanced lifestyle. As for the company, I know my limits. I would never sacrifice my well-being for business."

Leonard was completely accustomed to the long separations from his parents, so their reunion was calm and deeply affectionate rather than overly dramatic.

However, the Prescotts had arrived with a very specific and crucial mission in mind.

After the group settled into the lavish living room and chatted over tea, Mrs. Prescott smoothly steered the conversation to the main event.

"Lillian, while we are technically just passing through Northwyn on this trip, we made a very deliberate stop back home to retrieve something special.

"Our family spends so much time scattered across the globe, and we never quite know when we'll all be in the same room again. Now that Lillionix has stabilized and your relationship with Leonard has grown so wonderfully strong, Mr. Prescott and I believe it's time to make things official."

Lillian was no stranger to the trajectory of a serious relationship. Hearing Mrs. Prescott's heartfelt words, she knew exactly where this was leading.

A soft, involuntary blush rushed to her cheeks.
