Dumped My Cheating Ex. Now I'm Sleeping Next to a Billionaire CEO novel Chapter 1637

Steve finally spoke the man's name out loud. "Tyler?!"

Understanding crashed over him, and he groaned in frustration. "Damn it, how did I completely overlook that guy! I was wondering why, with Brian and Martha tearing at each other's throats like rabid dogs, his side had remained so eerily quiet. So that crippled bastard is holding his breath, charging up a massive move to flip the whole board?"

James offered a noncommittal hum of agreement. He rested his long, elegant fingers lightly on his knee, his entire posture radiating a languid yet absolute dominance that controlled the entire board.

"Tyler has already secretly bought off and flipped quite a few of the shareholders surrounding Martha. Even an outsider like you can't stomach the massive daily financial losses the Nelson Corporation is bleeding right now. As the designated young master of the Nelson family, Tyler naturally finds it even more unbearable," James explained, letting out a cold chuckle. "He would never accept fighting tooth and nail only to end up with a hollowed out, worthless shell of a company. So, as long as I continue to let things burn, he will grow impatient. He will jump out and leverage every single resource he holds to swallow the entire Nelson Corporation in one massive gulp."

Hearing this, Steve finally saw the true trajectory of this colossal, intricate game of chess. "So you want to wait for the exact moment he goes all in, when he throws everything he has into devouring the company... And then you will strike from behind, seizing all the resources he has painstakingly built up over the years, completely cutting off every single avenue of retreat he has?! Including the old Nelson family estate... you are going to take that back too?!"

James looked at him and gave a slow, deliberate nod.

As Steve slowly pieced together the brilliantly interlocked layers of this scheme, the look he gave James was as if he were looking at a monster wearing human skin. He excitedly slapped his hand onto James's shoulder. "The way you run these calculations... you almost had me completely fooled, too!"

Right at that moment, a soft click echoed through the room. The nursery door, which had been tightly shut for ages, was gently pulled open from the inside. The group of women walked out of the room one by one, chatting and laughing brightly.

Hearing the commotion, the men on the living room sofa unanimously paused their conversation and turned to look. But when the women stepped out and clearly saw who was sitting in the living room, they all froze. Almost in unison, their heads snapped back to look at Sylvia, who was walking out last.
