Boss, Your Wife Signed the Divorce Agreement Before the Wedding novel Chapter 808

Ian took a large step forward and grabbed Raelynn's wrist. "Raelynn, let's talk."

He had no desire to trade verbal blows with Sebastian; he just wanted to pull her away.

But the moment she moved, Sebastian's hand clamped down on her other wrist. Caught in the middle, she was yanked in two different directions.

Raelynn's expression darkened. She was already stressed enough, and her plate was overflowing with crises. With wolves circling in front of her and tigers at her back, she knew the Croix family would be coming for her head any minute. She didn't have the emotional bandwidth for a macho tug-of-war.

Sebastian didn't let go.

He threw a quick glance at Ian before staring down at her. "Don't you think you owe me an explanation regarding the child?"

"Have some self-respect, Mr. Croix," Ian demanded, his expression growing deadlier as he stared at Sebastian's grip on Raelynn.

Sierra stayed quiet, standing off to the side. Watching the scene unfold, she unconsciously clenched her fists tight, a suffocating jealousy brewing within.

Raelynn took a deep breath. The Hudson family's drama was just as frustrating. She had already texted Ian about Cordelia's phone call. Right now, Lily was her sole priority.

She looked at Ian. "I have things I need to handle. Whether the wedding is postponed or canceled, I don't think that's a decision just the two of us can make right now."

Ian's eyes darkened.

He guessed his mother had probably spoken to her. Whatever Cordelia had said, to Raelynn, it must have felt like abandonment—yet another betrayal following the bidding war fiasco.
