Before Sienna could even speak, Luna shot to her feet.

"No way!" Luna huffed angrily, then turned to Sienna. "He carried an injured Celeste away at the banquet, which proves he chose to believe her.

He didn't care that that Bro-Bait pushed you down the stairs, and he didn't care that she framed you. He protected her the whole time. Since he made his choice, what the hell is he doing here?"

Jonathan nodded in agreement. "Sienna, your condition just stabilized. There's no need to ruin your mood. It's better not to see him."

Seeing that Sienna remained silent, the nurse offered an awkward smile. "Then... I'll go turn Mr. Sterling away right now."

She turned to leave.

"Wait," Sienna stopped her. "Let him in."

Luna and Jonathan both froze, their faces masking pure disbelief.

The nurse quickly acknowledged the request and scurried off.

Luna grabbed Sienna's hand, frantically trying to persuade her. "That rotten jerk didn't care about you when he should have! Nothing good will come from him being here now. Bestie, don't put yourself through this!"

Sienna smiled. "With Celeste in this kind of predicament, Jarred is definitely going to try and run interference for her. I just don't know what use he thinks I am. Let him in. I want to hear what he's planning."

"But..."

Luna tried to argue, but upon meeting Sienna's unwavering gaze, she knew that once her friend made a decision, she wouldn't back down.

Ultimately, she just let out a heavy sigh. "You absolutely cannot go soft on him. You have to make Celeste pay this time. Make sure she can never bounce back, or else she'll just escalate things, and you'll be the one getting hurt!"

"I know," Sienna nodded gently.

Jonathan also stood up and patted her shoulder. "Luna and I will be right outside the door. If you need anything, call us immediately."

Sienna nodded in agreement. Just as she watched the two of them reach the door, it was pushed open from the outside.
