Sienna lost her balance, her body dragged tightly by Celeste.
"Sienna... let me go! I don't want to die..."
Celeste's voice trembled with terror, making it look exactly as if Sienna was dragging her down to her doom.
The surrounding guests stared in shock.
Once they snapped out of it, they rushed down to help.
In the chaos, Sienna clearly felt Celeste's movements.
The hand gripping her wrist squeezed viciously, amplifying the force with every brutal impact against the stairs.
Sienna felt like her body was being torn apart, completely unable to make a sound.
"Stop pushing me! Please!" Celeste's wailing continued, perfectly masking the vicious whisper she hissed into Sienna's ear. "You've really perfected the art of framing people, haven't you? Mrs. Zeller treats you like her own granddaughter now, doesn't she?"
Sienna forced a smile. "I learned from the best."
Celeste gave a sly, sinister smile. "Tell me, do you think he'll believe you this time... or me?"
Sienna stared at the madness in her eyes, momentarily stunned.
Before she could react, Celeste used every ounce of her strength to shove her hard against the metal railing.
Celeste let herself tumble further down the steps, while Sienna collapsed on the landing, gasping through suffocating agony.
The crowd instantly erupted.
"Oh my god! They fell!"
"Call an ambulance!"
In the chaos, countless figures rushed down the stairs.
Sienna lay on the floor, lacking the strength to even lift her eyes.
Through her blurring consciousness and the swarming crowd, she caught sight of a familiar, tall figure.
Jarred tore through the wall of people like a hurricane, sprinting toward where they had fallen.
His face, usually wearing a careless smirk, was now twisted with unprecedented panic.
Instinct drove Sienna to reach out.
