It was only when he left the safebase, did he realised that the situation was really not good. It was not as easy to survive as he thought.

Captain Xu’s heart was filled with irritation.

On top of that, Meng Anzhi said such a thing. If it were before, he would be a bit hesitant. But after finding out that Meng Anzhi was not close to Meng Suisui, he did not treat her like a human being. In his eyes, she was like a breeding sow that could be used and thrown at will. Even if he killed her, no one would say anything to him.
