The survivors all looked at one another, but seeing that they had only one choice, they could only light a bunch of torches and face the things that were coming toward them. It was clear that Bai Meiyue was not going to help them; since that was the case, they might as well fight for their chance for survival.

She was glad that these people were slowly learning to get up and fight back. But they were too rushed. Who asked them to fight a top contender from the start? What were they even thinking? Did they think that the human-faced spiders were something that they could take down with sheer willpower and courage?
