Chapter 669 Bones That Won’t Break
He stood, yanked open a drawer, grabbed a gun, and headed straight for the hidden ro
The guard outside saw him coming and scrambled aside, “Boss!”
“Open up.”
“Yes, sir!”
The door swung open. The person in the chair slowly raised her head.
The harsh light made her squint.
After days of captivity, she finally saw her captor.
Huh. An ugly, squat little fat man.
Todd, on the other hand, was taken aback by her looks.
Even tied up, she was striking-radiant in a way that was impossible to miss.
“No wonder Norman’s into you-you’re gorgeous.”
The Heir of the Cole family?
Norman?!
She knew it-that bastard was bad luck.
Getting involved with him always brought nothing but trouble.
If she got out alive, she was going to punch his lights out.
“Pretty thing-shame you picked the wrong man.”
Todd stepped closer, using the gun barrel to lift her chin, studying her face.
“Beautiful.”
Tammy spat right at him, “Back off.”
Todd’s expression twisted–he backhanded her across the face.
She didn’t flinch, didn’t cry out. Her eyes just got colder.

“Interesting.”
“So fiery-haven’t you learned your lesson?
“Or are you still hoping Norman will come rescue you?
“Hahaha-don’t hold your breath.”
Todd pulled out his phone and played the recording of their earlier conversation. Norm's voice came through loud and clear.
“No one’s worth more to me than myself-not even her.”
Tammy went still.
Todd loved this part-watching hope drain out of people.
“The guy you’re counting on-he’s not coming! What’s the matter? Scared? Helpless? Feel despair?”
Tammy rolled her eyes and shot back, “Idiot.”
Todd’s face contorted. “You’re dead! Get her out of here!”
His men grabbed her roughly and dragged her away.
There was a basement underneath-
their torture room.
His ugly face went red. Veins bulged on his forehead.
You’re asking to die!
A bestial roar tore from his throat. His composure shattered completely.
Humiliation boiled into rage-he grabbed a rusted iron pipe from against the wall.
He’d already forgotten his promise to Manna.
“Bang.”
Unh-!
Tammy’s whole body jerked. A strangled groan slipped through her clenched teeth.
A sickening crunch echoed in the silence-bone breaking.
She crumpled like a bird with a shattered wing. Cold sweat soaked her hair, her face dead whit Every breath sent fire through her chest.
Todd panted, tossing the pipe aside, watching her curl up on the ground. The control felt good again.
Chapter 669 Bones That Won’t Break
Tammy made no sound. She swallowed the pain, refused to let it out.
But her twitching shoulders and paper-white face told the story.
Blow after blow. Each one landing. They were breaking her bones one by one.
She took it all.
She couldn’t even stay on her knees-collapsed, curled up-but still no begging.
And the more she refused to break, the more it drove him to cruelty.
Todd’s brutal assault didn’t even get a grunt.
