Accidentally Pregnant By My Alpha Best friends (Madeline) novel Chapter 880

Sawyer:

I had been inspecting the gun and, well, it looked damn good in my hands.

That was when the annoying child came back, holding a lollipop, while the warrior behind him carried a few balloons.

I rolled my eyes, closed the box, and rose from the couch, frowning at the warrior behind him.

“Where is Eugenia?” I asked.

The warrior immediately crouched down and handed Bodhi the balloons before gently patting his shoulder and gesturing toward the room, silently telling him to leave.

He knew, just like everyone else, that I didn’t particularly like having children around me, especially Bodhi.

Lady Eugenia had told me that Bodhi was Baxter’s son, which only made me resent the child more.

I had completely forgotten that I’d ever spent time with them. Then again, I barely had.

Back when I was married to Madeline, I hardly ever saw them unless she dragged them along with her to dinner, breakfast, or lunch.

I did discipline them, though. I’ll give myself credit for that.

“Luna Rosetta showed up. I saw the two of them talk and then hug before leaving. Lady Eugenia told me to bring Bodhi back to you because she was leaving with her daughter.”

My eyes nearly bulged in shock.

“Wait, Eugenia left with Rosetta?” I demanded.

He nodded confidently, his hands clasped in front of him.

“What a bitch,” I muttered, hissing under my breath.

I pulled out my phone to call her, but it seemed she had turned off her phone.

“Did she tell you anything else?” I asked.

The warrior glanced around before nodding.

I gestured for him to move aside because it seemed he wanted to keep the information private. Once we reached the corner, he began speaking.

“It seems Luna Rosetta promised her a position as a council leader, so Lady Eugenia accepted it. She told me to wish you the best of luck, but... that’s as far as she can help,” the warrior explained.

I turned toward the room where Bodhi was playing.

“What about him? Why did she leave him behind?” I questioned, confused.

There was no way Eugenia would simply abandon Madeline’s child like that.

“Actually, the humans are trying to contact the werewolves. She was afraid that if Madeline really is there and she’s okay, she might try to come back for Bodhi. Lady Eugenia doesn’t want to deal with that. She just wants to be happy with her daughter, especially now that they’re both council leaders,” the warrior explained.
