At least, it was entirely unacceptable to Yvonne.
"That's none of our business," she replied calmly.
After the disaster years ago, if Yardley still hadn't learned how to love someone with respect, then he had better prepare himself to die alone.
"Susanna Yelchin? Why does she have the same last name as Fairfax?"
"She's his sister!"
Yvonne went completely silent.
This was...
"Talk about a twisted mess of fate!"
Whether it was his actual brother-in-law or not, Yardley was out there trying to beat the man to death. And now, Fairfax was technically his brother-in-law again! Yardley really was unbelievable.
Amos rubbed the back of his neck. "Tell me about it. Fairfax just gave me a strict order to bring her to Cyrus Sea ASAP. You know Romy and Seymour are currently with Starla, and they're the absolute best for this."
When it came to snatching someone away, Romy and Seymour were unparalleled. Any other operative probably wouldn't have the skills to successfully steal someone right out from under Yardley's nose.
Yvonne couldn't even find the words to describe the sheer absurdity of the situation.
Finally, she just said, "If you provoke Yardley again, he really will kill you this time!"
Amos had already married the first woman Yardley ever truly loved. If Amos's people went and stole the second woman Yardley set his heart on, Yardley would absolutely rip him to shreds!
Amos swallowed hard. His brain felt numb.
She was right. Sending his people to steal Yardley's woman was practically begging for a death sentence. Yardley already wanted him dead for marrying Yvonne. If he actually kidnapped Susanna, Yardley would personally hand-deliver him to hell!
After Yvonne left, Amos finished his cigarette and quietly stepped into the room.
The doctor had mentioned that Fairfax's mental state wasn't great and that he was drifting in and out of consciousness. He was awake now, but his gaze looked deeply clouded.
"She didn't find out you're alive."
"Is that what I asked?"
"No, no... but brace yourself, don't get agitated."
Fairfax's eyes narrowed dangerously, the glare turning instantly lethal.
Amos squirmed under the intense scrutiny. "Romy sent word. She doesn't want Romy and Seymour staying by her side anymore."
The moment Fairfax heard that she was pushing her guards away, his face went pitch black.
He let out a harsh, bitter laugh. "Does she really think just because that old bastard is dead, she's completely safe now?"
Firing Romy and Seymour? Had she still not realized what Yardley and Herbert were truly capable of?

"You're a failure as a husband and coward as a Man" This is what i want to say in Fairfax hahaha you dont deserved a wife if you cant protect her...
Hahaha This plot of story i hate about, choosing another girl instead of your own wife is something unreal, you didnt considered your wife feeling, you didnt even trust her and later on you will say sorry?? Was sorry will fixed everything you've done? Was sorry fixed her heart? it was unfair for your wife, you must choose your wife whatever it is. You know your wife well more than anyone else and the only person she should lean on was the person who pushes her away...
