Chapter 196 The Agriculture Department

“I’m majoring in forensic science.

Ava’s eyes lit up. “Whoa, that means you’re going to be a real forensic examiner someday? That’s amazing saw you you’ve got a totally unique vibe.”

Queenie smiled, and this time, the smile was warmer, more genuine. She was used to people reacting awkwardly to study-most girls their age didn’t understand it. Some would even blurt out things like, ‘Wait, so you’ll be dealing all the time? That’s so creepy!

But Ava had reacted with nothing but admiration.

“I live on the second floor,” Queenie said. “After you’re back from training, come ad me.”

“I will! I’m on the third floor. Looks like we’re neighbors-what are the odds?” Ava beamed.

“Better get going. Hope they assign you to one of the better training camps.”

Ava made her way to the field and headed toward the Agriculture Department’s section. By the time she arrived, several boys were already gathered and standing in loose formation.

Rather than joining the line with the boys, Ava stood slightly apart and started a new row.

The guys in the Agriculture Department were stunned. A girl? And not just any girl-a stunning one?

They huddled together, whispering in disbelief, “Did a literal goddess just pick our major? Did we do something good in a past life?”

Eventually, one brave soul stepped forward and approached her “Uh, hey… This is the Agriculture Department. You sure you’re in the right place?”

Ava turned to look at him. He had fair skin and looked a little frail. She nodded calmly. “Yes, I’m a freshman in the Agriculture Department. I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

The boy, clearly not used to talking to girls-let alone girls who looked like her-immediately blushed, his face and ears tursing crimson. He dropped his gaze and practically ran back to his group.

The whispers around her continued. Nearby students from the Business and Economics Department were so watching, unable to hide their envy.

“Seriously? What’s a girl like that doing in Agri? That department’s basically just fields and livestock all day. Doesn’t she know what she’s signing up for?”

“Is it too late for me to switch majors?”

Just then, a sudden wave of gasps came from the Humanities Department’s section.

Ava turned to look-and froze.

It’s her

There was Tylissa-standing at the front of the Humanities lineup, her expression gentle, her smile measured to perfection, greeting her classmates one by one

“Oh my god, Tylissa came to Starry Heavens too?!”

“She’s literally a real-life princess. What the helt how am I breathing the same air as her?”

“I swear I’m gonna pass out. I go to school with an actual princess.”

“I bet she didn’t even take the entrance exam. She must’ve been guaranteed a spot.”

Ava listened to the murmurs around her and had to admit-Tylissa had a commanding presence.

“Ava!”

The shout pulled her out of her thoughts.

“Ava, remember me?”

A girl in a light pink jacket came bounding over.

Ava recognized her instantly. They’d met once at an amusement park. She smiled and greeted her warmly. “Ivyonne.”

Ivyonne beamed. “You’re in Agri?”

“Yeah. You?”

“I’m in Vocal Studies. I’m kinda surprised, though. Agri’s a pretty tough major for girls.”

Ava laughed. “And you’re studying music? That’s amazing. Future diva Ivyonne Quigley, right here.”

Ivyonne giggled. “I hope we get assigned to the same training camp. That would be awesome.”

With that, she returned to her section. Back on Ava’s side, two more girls joined the Agriculture Department.

One was named Zoey Zimmer. She had a soft, round baby face and looked abit petite-probably around 5’5″. Her long hair was dyed a deep forest green, and her big eyes were a soft, glassy pink.

she had The other was Noelle Lane-taller than Ava by a head, with sharp features and a lean, powerful frame. She had a masculine edge to her beauty, with broad shoulders and a confident stance. Her gray hair was streaked with hints of blue, and her slightly raspy voice matched the strength in her intense blue eyes.

Soon, school buses arrived to take the students to their designated training camps.

Throughout the ride, Zoey and Noelle chattered nonstop. The two were cousins as well as classmates, both hailing from Floritte Planet. It was their first time visiting Capitol Planet, and their excitement was palpable.

“Ava, are you from here?” Zoey asked, leaning forward curiously.
