Chapter 279
“How dare you deceive me?
“What did I do?” The panic in her voice was real. I could see it in the widening of her eyes, the quick flutter of her pulse against my palm.
“You told me the girls had been trained by you. You told me they knew hory to please a man. So why the hell would you send a virgin to me? Do you have any idea how boring she is? She could not even suck my cock properly. I have gotten more enthusiasm from a corpse.”
She swallowed against my grip. “I am sorry. I am so sorry. Tasha is the only virgin in our group. I thought you would be pleased. I thought a man like you would want a girl who was untouched. A girl no one else had ever had.”
“A man like me?” I laughed, and it was not a pleasant sound. “Girls like Tasha are a turnoff, Scarlett. They know nothing. They cannot please me. And more importantly, sending her to my bed, did you want her to die by my hands? Because if I had been a lesser man, I would have taken her anyway and broken her in half doing it.”
“I am sorry,” she breathed. “It will not happen again. Tell me what to do. Tell me how to ease your anger. Anything.”
I looked at her, pressed against the wall, her pulse hammering under my palm, her chest rising and falling with quick, shallow breaths. The anger was still there, hot and bright, but it had shifted. It had moved south.
I released her throat, grabbed her hips, and spun her around to face the floor to ceiling mirror that dominated the side wall of the room.
“Hands on the glass.”
She obeyed, pressing her palms flat against the mirror, and I saw her face in the reflection, eyes wide, lips parted, that flush of color spreading across her chest. I kicked her legs apart, shoved her dress up around her waist, and tore her panties down her thighs.
