Chapter 273
Her eyes flew wide. “What?”
“What?” I raised a brow. “You do not want to do it?”
She stared at me, her mouth opening and closing like a landed fish.
“What is the big deal?” I let the amusement bleed into my voice. “Is that not already what you are all good at doing? Or did you think I do things for free, Scarlett? That I go to war with men like Big Bryan out of the goodness of my heart?”
“I will get the other girls,” she said, her voice small. “I will bring them to you, I swear. But please.” She pressed her palms together, and the gesture was almost painful to watch. “Please, leave Tasha out of it. She is…”
“If Tasha is too good for my cock,” I cut in, “then she might as well burst into pieces. The choice is hers.”
She flinched like I had struck her. “Please. There has to be another way. I will do anything. I will give you anything. I will…”
“You have twenty-four hours to bring the girls to me,” I said, flat and final. “That is not a negotiation.”
“It is not possible,” she whispered. “I cannot get all of them in twenty-four hours. Julian…”
“Then bring Tasha first.” I shrugged. “Tomorrow. You will make the arrangements for the other two girls after her.”
She stared at me, hope and dread warring across her face. “You mean it? You will wait for the others?”
“I am a patient man when I choose to be.” I leaned forward. “Tasha warms my bed tomorrow night. If she disappoints me, there is no need for you to ever appear before me again. Do we understand each other?”
She nodded, swallowing hard. “I will be here at six in the evening. I will bring her.”
“The suite will be ready.” I paused. “And Scarlett?”
“Yes?”
“Make sure she understands what is expected of her. I do not enjoy surprises.”
She nodded again, and made to rise, and I held up a hand.
