Chapter 216
I walked back to the living room and dropped my bag on the coffee table. Elizabeth was still moaning on the couch, her dress bunched up around her hips, her fingers moving between her thighs. Riley had rolled onto her stomach, her face pressed into the cushion, her breath coming in short ragged gasps.
I stood there and watched them for a moment, etting the sight sink in.
Elizabeth’s eyes found me. There was still a flicker of awareness in them, a spark of consciousness fighting against the fog of the drug. She tried to sit up, tried to form words, and the first thing that came out was a plea.
“Please,” she said, her voice slurred and thick. “Let us go.”
I stared at her without a word.
She looked at Riley, who was beyond reason now, her body trembling, her moans growing louder. Elizabeth’s face crumpled.” At least let my daughter go. Please. Show mercy.”
I let out a laugh, short and sharp.
“Mercy? You did not show mercy to me when you made your sick plan and brought me here, did you? I am no longer the old Celeste who gave people chances and allowed them to walk all over her. I am done playing nice. Now I treat people exactly how they treat me.”
I grabbed Elizabeth by the arm and dragged her off the couch. She was weak, too weak to resist, her body limp and heavy as I pulled her across the living room floor. Her heels scraped against the tile, leaving marks, and she let out a sound that was half whimper and half moan. I dragged her all the way to the room where the six men were and pushed her inside.
The men were already showing the effects of the drugs. Their eyes were glazed, their pupils dilated, their cocks straining against their pants. They reached for Elizabeth as soon as she entered, their hands grabbing at her clothes, pulling her into their midst.
I went back for Riley. She did not even resist when I pulled her off the couch. She was too far gone, lost in the haze, her body moving on instinct. I dragged her to the same room and pushed her inside as well.
Then I turned to one of the bodyguards, the one who had broken the man’s wrist. He was standing by the door, his expression professional, his posture relaxed.
