Chapter 195
DOMINIC
When morning came, I woke to find Celeste still in my arms, her hair spread across the pillow, her lips slightly parted in sleep. I watched her for a while, memorizing the way her eyelashes fanned against her cheeks, the way her chest rose and fell with each breath. Then I leaned down and kissed her awake.
“Good morning, Beautiful.” I whispered.
She opened her eyes slowly, a smile spreading across her face. “Good morning, Sexy.”
We showered together, the water hot against our skin, and I pressed her against the tiled wall and took her again, slow and deep, my cock sliding into her wet pussy as the water streamed down our bodies. She gasped and moaned, her legs wrapped around my waist, her back against the cool tiles as I fucked her with long deliberate strokes that made her toes curl and her nails dig into my shoulders.
When we were done, we dried off and began to get dressed. She told me she had to hurry to Helix, that Pat had not called which was strange because Pat always called, and she was starting to worry. I nodded and began buttoning my shirt, telling her I would love to have breakfast with her.
She hurried out of the room while I tried to finish quickly.
But just as I reached the door, I heard Imelda’s voice from outside, sharp and accusatory.
“I cannot believe this. A married woman? Mrs. Celeste Fisher, care to tell me why you spent the night in my fiancé’s room when you have a husband?”
I stepped out and stood by the door, my eyes taking in the scene. Celeste stood frozen, her bag clutched to her chest, while Imelda stood before her with her arms crossed, her expression fierce. Behind Imelda, my grandmother stood in her nightgown, her face twisted with disapproval.
“How do you know about me?” Celeste asked, her voice calm.
“My family is very wealthy,” Imelda said, her chin lifted. “All I had to do was send your picture and all the information I needed about you came back. I know your type. You are nothing but a gold digger.”
My grandmother stepped forward, her voice cold. “Listen to me, Mrs. Fisher. You are not welcome in my grandson’s life. A gold digger like you, a married woman who cannot stay faithful to her husband, has no business being anywhere around the Ford family.”
Imelda moved closer, her voice rising. “Tell me, do you not feel ashamed? Are you not embarrassed? People like you would do anything for money. You cheap slut.”
The slap was so hard that the sound echoed through the house. I saw Celeste’s hand connect with Imelda’s cheek, saw Imelda’s head snap to the side, saw her stumble backward and crash into my grandmother, sending both of them to the floor in a tangle of limbs and indignant cries.
I immediately walked out.
My grandmother began to cry out, her voice high and theatrical. “Dominic! This woman is evil! She is a monster! Look at what she did to me!”
Imelda sat on the floor, tears streaming down her face, her hand pressed to her reddened cheek. “Dominic, she slapped me. Did you see that? She slapped me.”
I turned to look at Celeste. She stood there with a blank expression on her face, her hand likely still tingling from the force of the slap, her eyes fixed on me.
