Chapter 118
JULIAN
I paced up and down, my eyes fixed on the countdown timer on my phone. Nine minutes left. Then eight. Then seven. Sweat dripped down my temples and I wiped it away with the back of my hand, my breath coming in short, ragged bursts.
One hundred million dollars.
That was not pocket change. That was money I had worked for, bled for, built my empire on. And these little bastards thought they could just take it from me like I was some common fool they could intimidate
into submission.
But what choice did I have?
If that video went viral, Celeste would see me with that redhead’s mouth wrapped around my cock, her ass bouncing on my lap, my cum painting her face, and there would be no explanation that could fix it. No amount of apologizing that could undo the image of me fucking another woman while my wife was at home waiting for me to come back.
And my company. My reputation. Everything I had spent years building. Gone. In the time it took for a video to load and buffer.
I stopped pacing and looked at my contact. He was still typing furiously on his keyboard, trying to trace the wallet address, trying to find any crack in their digital armor.
“Anything?” I asked.
“Nothing yet. They’re using a decentralized wallet. Untraceable without more time.”
‘I don’t have more time.”
He looked up at me. “Then you have to pay.”
Those words hit me like a slap across the face. I had to pay. Me. Julian Fisher. The man who had never let anyone get the better of him. I had to hand over a hundred million dollars to a group of thieving bastards who had set me up from the moment I walked into that club.
I wanted to throw my phone across the room. I wanted to punch another hole in the wall. I wanted to hunt down Scarlett Vance and wrap my hands around her throat until she begged me to stop.
But instead, I sat down heavily on the chair next to the desk, pulled out my phone, and started the
transfer.
The Bitcoin moved in a matter of seconds. One hundred million dollars, gone. Transferred to a wallet address I had never seen before.
But now there was something else I had. A number. The one she used in calling me. That number was
connected to Scarlett Vance and her criminal Phantom Circle.

The timer on my phone hit zero. Nothing happened. No video went viral. No calls from Celeste asking why there was a sex tape of her husband all over the internet.
I had bought myself some time.
But peace was not something I could afford anymore. I had hired thirty more skilled armed men and they all had Scarlett’s picture with them, as well as the pictures of the other members of the Phantom Circle that my contact had managed to dig up from old police records. Two men, four women. A group of thieves who had been operating across different cities before they set their sights on me.
My contact had successfully gathered all the information on them. Their last known locations. Their aliases. Their patterns. Everything I needed to hunt them down like the animals they were.
I sent all the men I had hired out to comb the city. Every corner. Every alley. Every dive bar and abandoned building. I wanted Scarlett and her gang caught no matter what it took.
And I did not rest that night.
I eventually followed with one of the groups I had hired as they searched through the streets, my eyes scanning every face, every shadow, every flicker of movement in the darkness. The city was alive with noise and light but I saw none of it. All I saw was the face of that redhead, her lips wrapped around my cock, her eyes looking up at me with that smug, knowing smile like she had already won.
