“W–What brings you here?” she asked. 

“This is the first day of your spring auction. I’m coming to root for you,” Roderick said. 

Melanie roared in her heart, ‘No, I don’t need you to root for me!” 

“No need. Did you just say that Elias has already got in?” 

“Well, my mom and elder sister came in early. It’s time for us to go in,” Roderick said meaningfully, staring at her. 

Melanie was completely desperate.
