Suzie's voice choked on a sob at the end, and she pulled Stella into another tight hug.
"Alright, alright, don't cry. I'm fine now, aren't I? I've always been lucky, the fearless corporate warrior who does no wrong." Stella gently patted Suzie's back, using a cheerful tone to comfort her.
They cried and laughed together, only leaving the hotel late that evening.

The next day.
Stella decisively handed in her resignation letter to Bravo Ads Agency.
She went to a luxury department store and bought expensive gifts. Her bag was stuffed with all her bank cards containing her life savings, along with the title deeds to her house and car.
In short, she brought almost all the worldly possessions she had worked so hard for over the years.
Arriving at the ground floor of the Baylor Group headquarters, Stella approached the reception desk with utmost politeness. "Hello, my name is Stella Vance. I'm here to see Mr. Baylor. Could you please announce me? If I need an appointment, please tell me what time works."

"Ahem..." Stella let out an awkward cough.
Jamie finally stopped typing, though his eyes remained fixed on the computer screen. He asked coldly,
