She had a striking figure, with long red hair covering her private parts. Her lips curved into a seductive smile as she spoke in a smooth, teasing voice.

“You’ve been watching for a while now. Well? Aren’t you going to join us?”

Davy was still in his little green snake form. He let out a snort.

“No thanks! I’m about to bond with my mate! And you smell like my shed skin. Give it back!”

The woman blinked in surprise, then covered her mouth and laughed softly.

“Your shed skin? You mean the titan python’s shed skin? Little guy, what does a tiny snake like you have to do with that titan python?”

Davy felt insulted. She actually looked down on him!

In a flash, he transformed into his drake form. His enormous body hovered in the air, and the huge burst of power sent the tangled mass of snakes scattering in every direction.

The snake woman stayed where she was. Her eyes lit up with excitement.

“So the titan python really became a drake! How rare!”

She waved a hand, and a dress appeared on her body. It was made from snakeskin.

The fabric, shimmered with colorful light. It was thin, yet completely opaque. As she moved, it stretched and flexed with her body before returning to its original shape, almost like it was alive.

The drake recognized the snakeskin immediately.

“That’s mine!”

He had planned to give it to Claire as a bonding gift.

Now this annoying snake woman had turned it into a dress. It was beautiful, but seeing another woman wearing it made him incredibly unhappy.

“What should we do now?” she asked with a playful smile. “You left your shed skin behind, and I was the one who found it. Doesn’t that mean you should bond with me instead? Take a good look. I’m a Level 3.”

She brushed the red hair away from her cheeks, revealing the three beast marks on her face.

Davy stared for a second before scoffing.

“I’m Ruby Slither. What’s your name?”

“None of your business! Give it back now, or I’ll take it myself!” Davy snapped.

The night was growing darker, and he became more anxious by the second.

Claire must have been waiting for him.

Ruby laughed. She had no intention of giving the shed skin back.

The drake lunged at her.

Davy didn’t care whether she was male or female. If someone picked a fight with him, they deserved to be hit.

He was incredibly fast. In the blink of an eye, he reached Ruby. But just as he was about to strike, she

vanished.

Davy froze. For a moment, he wondered if he’d imagined everything.

Then he caught a sweet scent in the air. Ruby’s scent.

She was still there.

He just couldn’t see her.

Davy swept his tail across the area.

A panicked voice rang out, “If you touch a single scale on me, I’ll tell your mate you hit a woman!”

Davy frowned and struggled with himself.

Claire had finally agreed to bond with him. If Ruby ran to her and complained, Claire might think he was too violent.

With a frustrated growl, Davy lowered his tail in resentment. A second later, he shrank back into his tiny green snake form.

Then he turned and slithered away.
